We did that in germany too... for a few weeks. Workers got angry cause they just wanted more money instead of cheers. So people just stopped cheering. But besides that nothing happened to make their situation better 💁🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️

guys it doesn't take a rocket surgeon to tell that she's depressed. she's quarantined, alone, in a huge city where she knows nearly no one. She can't go outside. the world outside is chaos and she has to deal with the internal turmoil of whether she should post or not. literally fucking anyone would be depressed in these circumstances. commenting on it doesn't help. Ashley, you're talented and smart and most importantly, a deeply good person, and you're gonna be just fine. you're doing great sweetie

I mean.. yeah but she also has talked in the past about how she’s never really gone to therapy or anything and I feel like she thinks she’s “not that depressed” or some kind of mentality a lot of people have (something I thought for a long time before seeing a therapist and going on antidepressants) and like her habits from even before she moved to NYC are a bit troubling (peeling her nails to the point where she bleeds) no one here is saying she’s a bad person, just that she should go to therapy because people care about her wellbeing and want her to be happy

Theres this one vid where shes posing for a thrift flip and like this guy walks past and says "Your doing great honey keep it up". And I thought it was exactly what she needed to hear so I drew that scene to find out she didnt have a po box. I really hope she doesnt stress about uploading because as the phrase goes some things are worth waiting for. Also she forgets that we just sit watching her vids for like 20 mins then we r done whilst it took her like 40 hours to film edit and perfect .I want her to know that we appreciate her videos no matter how frequent they are.

Once you get out of that depressed state (which isn't easy, took me like five years of therapy and medication lol), the self-deprecating jokes become very transparent and somewhat uncomfortable to hear. I used to say comments like that all the time and I honestly feel kinda guilty for putting my loved ones through it.

Lmao right! I’m like ‘dang, guess my sense of humor is a red flag 😬’ although I think the concern is sweet. I just hope Ashley isn’t bummed that people are hyper focused on it. I could understand being frustrated if you made a video and most of the comments were calling it a cry for help after putting so much work into it via sewing, editing, etc. (Of course, no negativity towards the concerns or anything. Though I should add as someone who has been depressive before, putting some work out there deserves a pat on the back. It's hard to be productive when your mind tells you your worthless. She found a way of working through that. Though I will agree it's not the best for her.

Well, for the past weeks there has been such an avalanche of videos commenting on her hypocracy and mistakes she has done, I do not really get it. Okay, maybe some of the vids have valid points, but Ashley is also human and out of all the video humans I know, she is really a good person with no bad intensions whatsoever. The worst thing for me is the way some of the reaction videos have turned off, coming out just as a purely hate and unnecesarily nitpicking. Thats just wrong and would definitely have impact on mental health of anybody.

as much as I appreciate you caring for her wellbeing - some of your wording comes off as super weird and even a bit assault-y (? I don't know English isn't my first language) Like, I know many people want others to see when something is wrong and are glad about it. But even for them, those people are usually friends or family members, not random people from the internet. Imagine if someone stopped you on the street and would say something like "I see you getting your coffee here every morning but because my empathy levels are extremely high I can see everything that's going on inside your head, wether you want it or not. You aren't fine and I won't allow you to deal with it by yourself." Sure being worried isn't bad, but please don't act as if you can look into a person's mind. Privacy is a human right and it also means that such things aren't okay.

luvuanina For sure, but she does have depression which she’s talked about before. Lots of people cope with their depression by joking about it. I just hope her jokes are her trying to cope instead of her trying to avoid dealing with her mental health. If she’s trying to be relatable, at least do it right lol.

I was concerned about Ashley's jokes in this video too but guys with everything that's going on in the world and America in particular it's not really surprising. Also let's not forget that Ashley's been alone in her apartment for three (!!!) months now, how tough is that? As I can tell from what she's been telling us lately it's really hard for her. And i think that this kind of jokes is her emotional outlet and I think that it was rrrreally hard for her to get herself together and create such a beautiful clothes and film/edit the whole process! Nice job Ashley, I think a lot of people fell in love with your channel because of this kind of videos. So yeah, I know that no one is saying that she should stop joking like that or whatever, but I also think that she would feel sad about the comments. Well, Ashley, I want to remind you that we love you soooo much and wish you the best and if you're feeling like using this coping mechanism right now then do it! And don't stop making videos if you want to do them now, if it helps you to feel better, too! Hope lockdown is over soon and it will help you feel better (also sorry if it's already over in New York, i don't really know because I'm from Russia)
