Hi Lovelies!
So many of you have been asking for more thrifting videos and this time I brought you guys along with me on a casual thrifting day to hunt for "mid-century" style decor. I love decorating my home with modern pieces, especially mid-century and where I live, I get really lucky most times with the amazing items I can find for very little money. I scored several amazing pieces in this video and wanted to show you guys my haul and how much I was able to score these items for.

INR??!!! i recently bought a mid century modern 'danish' style very similar to that one (my arms are more curved) with coral colored cushions i am mad in love with & always looking for its twin. if i saw this one, id buy it in a minute. love the clean lines. & new cushions & be so happy! lol.

I have that little bamboo stool and I love it too. Loved all your finds, so fun to change things up for so little! Yes, more! Ive used the egg dishes to organize/display earrings.

Our Michigan thrift store are nothing like this!! Goodwill's have raised their prices out of reach too! That cane and rounded rattan table....would look perfect next to my Pottery barn leather chair!!

“I found all of these on the same shelf. My heart was racing and I get so excited.” LMAO !!!!!!! Omg 100%. I am the exact same way when I find thrift pieces that just are perfect and when I see a price like $8 or less I literally get a high from it and jump up and down. LOL !!!!

I didn't associate the stool with mid century exactly, but she was right about those stools being a part of the 70's. They were made with different materials, even wood and metal.

Haha, I love that you got the deviled egg plate! My sister and I pooled our money as little girls and bought one just like it at the drugstore (which had a soda counter, sewing center, etc. Boy, I miss those days! I think we paid maybe $2.75 in the mid 70s:)

Bentwood rockers with cane backs and seating were very popular in the mid 1970's. The cane top little table is also from that era.

Thank you for this video. Love the background piano music. Love the gold swirly coffeetable decor and that gigantic gold glass jar--it was a real steal. And everybody needs a plate for deviled eggs. You got some fabulous deals....p.s. eBay is still a hot thing! I buy everything on eBay, my makeup, household items, books, food, our masks, etc. We get about 3 packages a week. I also sell on eBay as a fundraiser for my favorite charity.

For some reason I think those white plates are fondue plates. That stool may be a Thonet. I saw one sold on 1stdibs for $500.

Omigosh what I wouldn't give for that enormous amber vase! Gorgeous! I would put something simple like forsythia branches (very retro) in it or nothing at all. Love!

I limit my visits to the summers so I can use the spring to spring clean and send out items and clothes I don't need. (You have a fabulous eye for style.) I'm glad that we have thrift shop here in the Philippines called Japan Surplus, were every pisces of furniture, glasswares, pots, vase, decor pisces, ect. are made and from Japan.. And that would be very great.. So far, ypur find is my most favorite ever..

You could take some chalk paint in your desired color and mix it with baking soda and paint. Gives great coverage and texture.

Just discovered your page. Love your finds. I am obsessed with American Thrift stores. I thrift in England in our charity shops but we don't have nearly as much choice. Your "egg" plate looks like a vintage oyster platter for serving oysters (I could be wrong) I have several. LOVE x

If I could just make the observation that thrifting is not only good for your wallet, it is good for the plalnet and the choice to buy second-hand shouldn't be tied to financial status. It ought to be, first and foremost, something we do for the planet and its finite resources. There is already SO much stuff out there... It is truly mindblowing in the worst of ways.
