Had my first Goodwill Bins experience last Friday in Des Moines Iowa. Wow! $1.79/#!! I walked out with literal trunk full of wonderful items for DIY& for home decor! $60 very well spent. If it’s okay I will show you some things I have made when I get all done. Great watching you decorate for fall. So many ideas. Always a bright spot in my day!! Thank you again. 😊

LV your creative brain. Currently designers are selling this quite luxury theme. Neutrals. For me a 75 year old young artist, color is essential to me. Happy and cheerful. I use to have a tradition French European home. Since I am a painter, lots of purchased art, sculpture and my paintings in our home. I would never go back. Minimalist and no color is what a lot of younger people lean towards . You are very skilled. I never buy down, it is soft and mushy. I ordered extra firm for a recent couch we bought. It won’t get mushy.

Oh my!! I love these videos. I too shop at goodwill but unfortunately we dont have a goodwill outlet but I still find some good stuff. I've have noticed the prices is getting outrageous though.

A hint for marking off an uneven circular vase--Dee from "She's So Craft Dee" uses black electrical tape because it stretches and will adhere to uneven items and not leak under the tape as you paint it.. I really enjoy your site. Our Goodwill stores do not have as many items as you find in yours, but your transformations have inspired me with some of the things I've found.

New subscriber. I am a dedicated Goodwill shopper and I also get severe sticker shock the few times I go into a "regular" store. But I will have to investigate their outlet store. Looks like it will be worth the trip. Just a side note: Had a friend who was appalled that I shopped at Goodwill. Been told by her husband it was just for poor people. My reply was that Goodwill wouldn't be able to keep the doors open if everyone wasn't able to shop there. 😊

Yes! The prices at our regular thrift stores in the area have gotten pretty high! For that reason I prefer either the Goodwill Outlet or the smaller independently owned/operated thrift stores.

Here in Australia, our seasons are not as defined as those in the northern hemisphere so we don't tend to decorate specifically for them (except for Christmas, of course). We seem to go fairly quickly from winter to summer. In fairly recent years, Halloween has become more popular here. I love getting ideas from your channel. I recently found a great little wooden tray for half price and I've styled it in my kitchen using your ideas.

to keep spray paint ready to use , when you are finished,turn the can upside down and spray. It will leave the sprayer ready for the next time

You have given me a new desire for my Goodwill stores. I hesitate so much when I see something and it’s not my style not realizing I can paint/stain or do whatever to make it my own. Love the videos please keep them coming. I’m on binge😂

Hi Jannie! Honestly, since they are just sitting in a vase I have never felt the need to clean them. Looking online it sounds like you can place half a cup of cornmeal or table salt in a bag, then put your flowers in the bag and shake gently. Hope that helps. :)
