Tiffany...I just found your channel. My style is more elegant French glam, I am not a thrifter at all. Not a DIYer either. But you have inspired me. Went to Goodwill for the first time. Found a Pottery Barn silver lustre shimmer vase and a fleur de lis print. Wow! Will now look to see if I can transform a piece into decor. My question: Do you sell your projects? You can't possibly use it all, can you? Where do you store it all?

Where did you find your plaid tissue paper. Just curious on the plastic greenery, why didn't you soak it in a vinegar water mixture , rinse off, shake off, and either hang it or lay it out to dry. I rinse off all my Longaberger baskets with hot water in the shower a sit outside to dry same with all other items I can get wet. Nothing has been damaged yet.

I just found you ! What a kindred spirit you are. I recently retired and love thrifting and decorating. I had never heard of bin shopping and was so excited to try it. Unfortunately, our community does not have one so I drove to Salem Oregon. I had the same results as many of your fans….. very disappointed. I was making a trip south to Sacramento and thought I would try again. JACKPOT! The variety was amazing and $1.29 per pound. I came home with my SUV full. On my way home I stopped in Medford and found a second bin store. Much less organized and lots of digging required but hit the jackpot again. All pillows were .25 cents and found Ugg pillows and at .25 cents I forced room in my car. All to say don’t give up keep looking the deals are real! Thank you for all the fantastic ideas!

The blue floral box with flip lid...you asked what we'd do with it...just a few ideas. *You could strip/sand it and stain or depending on how the wood looks, you could then paint with a neutral color. *You could put a pretty transfer, paint "recipes" on it to use as a recipe box. Keep for yourself or give as a gift to new brides, or to anyone for a gift. *I've seen similar boxes that were used as salt boxes. So you could paint/decorate it similar to antique design of them and paint "salt" on it. *You could decorate for a specific season with florals to fit or paint neutral to be able to change with each season. *You could paint/decorate to your liking and paint "prayers" on it and make it a prayer box or blessings box. *You could use this box(instead of a jar) to write slips of paper with ideas for children/grandchildren, etc. to pull out when they are "bored" and paint/decorate accordingly. *Or you could do something similar for age appropriate chores for children and paint/decorate(maybe include your children to be involved to help them be a part of it. I believe this helps children feel heard and encouraged in what roles they play to help contribute to their home/family, which also helps teach responsibility to them). Also, if you have multiple children you can write each child's name on the outside of the folded papers, so they can each know which one is theirs...in turn this makes it a bit more fun than a boring chore chart. I think I would have reupholstered the bar stools with black fabric. It would have been quicker and easier in the long run. It really is easier than people think.

Love all your hacks. I think I would have tried to reupholstering the bar stools. If you can take them apart it would be like wrapping a present. Would a good primer work on the dining table? love your eye for reproducing decorative items.
