You had my whole life spread out on your table in this video. The Gregg shorthand books! When I graduated from high school, I took shorthand at 120 words per minute and typed 80 words per minute. I was a secretary for 20 years before I went to college to get my BSN. I still use shorthand every once in a while. The children’s books were amazing. I was seven when the one in 1955 was published! Other books, like the Postman Pig, were my daughter’s era. She and I loved Richard Scarry characters. I loved all of the little bits and bobs you found! Looking forward to the next video haul!

I’m so happy you saw so many things from your life in my haul- funny how something so small can trigger all the memories to come flooding back. My daughter loved the Richard Scarry books also ❤We have had an enormous amount of rain here as of late, so sadly I did not get to go out thrifting or estate sales. Maybe next week 🎉

Love all the kids books! Really fun that you found all the random ephemera/paper items in the shed. My husband could do those slide puzzles (and later the Rubix Cube) in no time at all!

Love the kids books and my favorite was the Clue game. The one you have is the one I grew up with, I don’t remember the one you had growing up. I ordered from your shop and can’t wait for my things to arrive. I got an email today saying it dispatched! So fun. Thanks! Crafty hugs 🤗 teri

You were certainly lucky to find this estate sale! We have them here in WI but the ones I've been too were pretty expensive. I need to research my sales better- rookie me! Give me an auction though and I'm on it. Hope you have fun plans this weekend? Love the journals you have in mind too- you've had quite a busy life my friend! hugs

We have so many estate sales in my area it’s crazy I can’t keep up. I’m getting way more picky now - I will only go to the ones that look a hoarder lived there, 😂which im sure will be on my epitaph hahaha- fortunately I am super organized and when one thing comes in one goes out. I think I get in the most trouble at the Goodwill bins because I know that that’s the last stop for all of it 🤦‍♀️huggs to everyone 🤗🤗
