I've been skeptical to order from them. I see pop up adds all the time and the prices look to good to be true. I have browsed the site a few times and put several items in the shopping cart, but yet to order. It's nice to have a review from someone we trust, so appreciate you taking the time to check them out and share with us. Love thrift stores, been shopping them and yard sales for years. My majority of my entire house was thrifted. May I say, you look good in that shirt, the color really works for you, I love the color.

I love thrifting, I look for wrought iron pieces and baskets. I hit the jackpot about 3 months ago when I stopped in to goodwill and saw an exact match to my high end living room lamps and they were a set, they where basically brand new because the cords where still wrapped up and they where spotless! $36.00 for the set with the shades!! 🙌 I am getting ready to redecorate my master bedroom and it was perfect timing..

Thrifting is my jam lol. I have found Pottery Barn, Arhaus, Laura Ashley, Restorations Hardware, 24 pc set of Waterford Lismore crystal goblets, antique oyster plates, etc. for cents on the dollar. You really can find some amazing things there, and if not actually high end, you can find dupes that you can design yourself for pennies. Not to mention - the hunt is fun! Thanks for sharing Kelsey.

I absolutely love the lamp that you add mud too ! I’ve been wanting to thrift a new lamp for the dining room and use the baking soda technique. We have clay here in SC which is orange I don’t think that will look as nice.

Thanks for showing how to repurpose the vase! I saw one at Kirkland’s that I wanted ($30) but found a dupe at Hobby Lobby on clearance for $7 and change and am currently in the process of making it look like the “name brand one.” Why spend full price when you can have the same look for so much less?? No one will even know 😊

Kelsey, I loved all your suggestions. I have been thrifting books for years. Just last month, I found a VANITY FAIR book with art/actors from 1914-1936. Original and very old. It’s beautiful and very inexpensive compared to HOMEGOODS. I was over the moon. I have so many book treasures. I also got 3 Norman Rockwell vintage books with the most awesome artwork. Temu is horrible. They steal photos from small businesses and add them to their site so you think you are getting what is pictured but you are getting a fake copy that usually looks nothing like the photo they stole. Also I have heard horror stories about people getting their bank accounts randomly charged for amounts after they ordered. And then of course the labor standards are horrible. So many things wrong with Temu.

Sorry Kelsey, Temu is a company out of CHINA. We try to do our due diligence NOT to buy products from China. It's kinda all about being a Patriot and Buy American. Or anyone else that ISN'T China. I'll say no more! Cathleen

I respect your opinion on this. honestly it’s very difficult to not buy a product made in china. The iPone I’m typing this on was made in china. But each of us needs to do what we feel is best.

@@KelseyRomitoDIY Not being judgemental. As you said, we all must do what we feel is best. I built a beautiful company for Womens clothing and exercise equipment, well over 4000 products. China made it all very appealing and very profitable...I chose to close the doors completely. My choice completely & no regrets. Surely my phone and laptop were made in China...no doubt. All our prescription drugs are out of China. If something goes arye with them, millions will die. We do what we can. Temu is helping you and your business and actually helps stimulate the local economy. (Not that you need validation from anyone) I really enjoy your videos. You remain an inspiration. My next project-getting all my tools and garage organized-was inspired in part by your video on this. I don’t have nearly the power tools you have but I have enough stuff to warrant a peg board and a cabinet.

Agree they use child labor and the communist Chinese own Temu. China is our number one enemy they are placing their peeps in Cuba and they have come across our border that is not secure. To help your company and buy from them is a very disrespectful act IMO and I am sure many others feel the same. Esp with the child labor issues there

agree with trying to buy American, but this is very difficult. My issue is so many places like TEMU use political prisoners, especially from Korea, for labor. I will never buy from TEMU and avoid buying most cheap China made junk. And i will never buy a diamond due to the use of child labor in under developed countries used to mine diamonds. Does not have anything to do about my patriotism but more about morality. Just try to reuse and upcycle old stuff.
