Wow so many layers of old covers to the stool! Some dark wax on the legs would make it shine! The coffee table looks a delight! Nice work.

So cool to see the layers of vintage/antique fabric peeled away. Each one with a different story. To bad they were in such a state. Coffee table turn out great. 🌻🌻

$3.00 for an Ethan Allen coffee table? Wow! You'd think the owner would treat that table like gold. But I love how these pieces turned out. You gave that bar stool a perfect home & perfect function.

Ethan Allen furniture is a dime-a-dozen these days. My son-in-law works at the lumber mill in Northern New Hampshire back in the day the wood would then be sent to Orleans Vermont factory but unfortunately times have changed and Ethan Allen is just someone who manufactures average furniture you will be surprised to learn that once the wood is finished at the Sawmill it is then shipped to China to be built and then shipped back surprisingly in shockingly but that is what is happening now Ethan Allen struggles just like the rest of its competitors. Back thirty years ago I was married to a man who worked at the manufacturing plant and so did several other relatives in Northern Vermont. But it isn't that way anymore I have owned several pieces of Ethan Allen including a huge dining room table and chairs it was gorgeous but I needed to downsize I think I ended up with $50 someone giving me for beautiful dining room set

Hannica Rose yes! I don’t show all of it, but I worked my booty off sanding those edges. I would have never achieved it with out a electric sander. Get ya one girl !

That coffee table is stunning. An Ethan Allan coffee table for $3 - wow. Ethan Allan was the gold standard for furniture in the late 70s when I got married but we couldn’t afford that then. My sister in law has that same coffee table from the 70s that they bought we they got married and it is still gorgeous. Everything turned out great. Nice idea to turn that wobbly bar stool into a plant stand. Your have such a great helper in your husband.

I must compliment you on your perfectionism and neatness. I can so relate to you wanting to wash, clean, and do a neat job. It's so satisfying. I would do the same. I laughed when you fixed the stool and said what if someone lies on the floor and looks underneath and sees it all untidy. That would irritate me even if no one sees it. Lol. Really lovely pieces, I love how much care you put into each one. And the coffee table at the end for 3 dollars was such a winner. Enjoy them all. Love from Germany

Wadding is what you stuff it with for cushion, batting is what you use to smooth it out!

Although I loved the sunflower bench in its original finish, you did an excellent job with the redo and the white bench looks so sweet on your front porch. Spectacular job with the coffee table. It looks like a very expensive piece from a high end store. God bless you and your precious family.

Just a tip, when you use satin paint, to make it look matt, just spray with a flat clear coat and it dulls the shine! Beautiful pieces today❣

Good tip about the flat clear coat. My husband always wants to use a gloss paint, he likes shiny, and I'm always upset that it's shiny and he says, "I'm not repainting it!"

Love the little white bench for your porch. I would have cut a new piece of wood for the vanity bench to ensure integrity of the seat as well as to ensure no mold issue. Great job on your flips!😀

I use burlap for all my benches! I love it, so easy for stains, like it never stains!!! It’s called batting, atleast that’s what I call the fluffy white stuff! Such a great video, thank you for sharing! I did a storage bench reno with burlap on my channel, I had so much fun!!!

The coffee table is gorgeous, you scored. I bought an ethan allen ottoman just like it in Midland goodwill and gave 12 dollars at half price. Can't wait to flip it. Love you and your channel. And Elizabeth is such a delight. (My middle name is Elizabeth and that is what my husband calls me when he is ready to go and I'm talking too much. It's gotten to be a sort of joke with my friends and family. They will tell me, "you'd better go Elizabeth or he's going to leave without you" he actually did once I had to get a ride home with our pastor/friend from church. We only live two blocks from church and it was quite funny.

The white stuff is called cotton batting and thats what it is used for to add softness before you add fabric. I also love older peaces i have been. Thrifting and antiquing since i was 16. I am so glad to hear there are others out there who still find value in something that is not plastic or mass produced items :)

Putting a piece of high density foam on 1st over the plywood and then a layer of batting and fabric on the top would have really completed it and made it more comfortable

The coffee table came out so nicely! Have you ever given any thought to putting lemon oil on the makeup table bench? That wood would really pop with the conditioning the lemon oil provides. Everything came out so cute, but that coffee table...oh my!

Oh no I haven’t but I do have Lemon essential oil. Would that work. I was wondering what I could use to condition that wood. And thank you so much!

@@ThrilledThrifter I don’t think essential oil would work, but no t sure. I use lemon oil by Old English. You can purchase it in most grocery stores, Walmart, Target, etc. It’s in the aisle where furniture Polish like Pledge is kept. They also have a scratch cover oil that comes formulated for dark woods, or light woods. I swear by them both.
