@ThriveCRNA Hi there 😊 don't know if you remember meet but you helped guide my patch in to ICU as a new grad 3 years ago. Since then I have done 1yr of neuro ICU, 2 years of trauma ICU and currently learning burns ICU in between trauma shifts. I graduated with my BSN in December. GPA 3.5, my goal was to apply to CRNA this year unfortunately I lost a family member and became severely ill for over 3months so the deadline is approaching rather quickly. So this year I plan to shadow a CRNA as well as study for the GRE and CCRN so that I can apply next year. I haven't been involved in the hospital leadership wise because of school. However, I did get sent to the state capital In D.C to represent my school which resulted in the school receiving 34.5 million dollars and I won the national district association for nurses award and scholarship. Are there anything else you would suggest to prepare me? What types of materials should I be studying in addition to prepare for CRNA interviews

tnx for the info. watching you from abroad and I graduated with a foreign BSN. I am struggling to pass NCLEX and move to USA. I am 37 y/o. Do you think that age could be an issue to acceptance for crna school by the time I reach over 40 to 45 y/o? Considering that it may take me a bit of time to build and boost my resume. Thank you.

Am keenly interested in the crna course but am abroad and above 40 years, will this affect me negatively, have already done NCLEX and passed and licensure done as well

Try getting a Labor and Deliver PCT position or a Nurse internship in Labor and Deliver, or OR. I was told that you can meet some CRNAs there.

ICU RN x3 yrs.. 3.55 GPA studying for CCRN I’m currently looking into what schools are the most affordable, as I’d like to take out the least amount of loans possible. any suggestions? preferably ones that would waive GRE or chemistry requirement.
