So, my case is kind of strange.My top two wisdom teeth are taking the place of my two rotten back teeth, but then I also need braces for 2 whole years to make sure the teeth don't stray and create gaps. I don't know a single person that wears retainers at night and I'll feel really sheepish and embarrassed if i have someone over/date someone. It's still not imminent but will happen once the braces come off again.

Yet again, the medical profession seems to forget that they are in the employ of the patient, NOT the other way round! If a patient doesn’t want to wear rubber bands, he doesn’t have to! If a patient doesn’t want treatment time extended, he doesn’t have to accept it!! When will the medical profession realise they must do what the patient wants!?
