great idea mike, I had a motorcycle in my van but was to big and heavy, then went down to a moped, but I think the scooter is a great idea, good luck and have a great day.

Scooter looks like so much fun! I guess you can ride them on the sidewalks there? The electric bike gives you the benefit of exercise, saddle bags for storage, and the option of winter tires for year round riding.

I like having my 06 kaw 650r streetfighter on the van at all times just incase of an emergency but i really use it alot in the nicer weather verses riding in the snow, but it will ride in snow w/a good duel sport tire..

I say it is better to get the "Foldable Bicycle". First of all, it does not require charging which means you do not have to seek charging mechanism for your truck and it keeps yo healthy while riding and going from place to place. Also it does not really require to suit up completely and all you need is just a helmet and maybe gloves. Where most electrical bikes (E-Bike) are required registration with the MTO and must be approved by the MTO to be used for transportation purposes. Not a big deal with the laws but might be a bit risky. Although I am a big fan of renewable energy and like you said, it folds and you put it in the back of the truck. Most regular bicycles nowadays come to be foldable and easy to carry along. I think that it would be a great idea for downtown. Gees, I do not remember, I am not sure when was the last time I was in downtown LOL

I don't have one but would love a scooter. All I know is that make sure you get one made for on and off road....the on road versions look a little cheep and not durable at all.

I say if it works for ya do it. If you don't it may end up being something you regret later on down the line.

I have a foldable E-bike and also use the public transit system so I don't have to drive my van as much...
