No was cowritten by BOTH Soyeon and CLCs rapper Yeeun, theyre actually really close age wise too, both August 98. And Sorn has confirmed theyre waiting for the right time to reunite, Elkie has been doing a lot of work in China, Yeeun has recently been on an Mnet show and Yujin is the big one theyre waiting on, she became the leader of Kep1er and has been contracted to them for 2 and a half? Years since February lastyear. But they refuse to say theyve disbanded, they just cant be together right now. And you were right they never had a world tour or really any CLC specific concerts outside Korea, been to a lotta countries but not for their fans specifically. And worse imo in all the years they were around, they never got an official lightstick.....

Rapper with the blonde hair is Yeeun and she is so fierce! She is debuting in a temporary group in September from a survival show called Queendom Puzzle. She is going to debut with other idols from groups that have already debuted. The group will be called EL7Z UP

I recently was made aware of this group after having watched Queendom Puzzle and Yeeun becoming one of my favs on the show from the minute I saw her enter in episode 1 to then realize shes a killer rapper when she performed. Love her tone in rapping and the charisma she has when she performs. Just wait till u get into that shows performances she is deadly..... Blonde suits her so fcking well, it almost looks natural its insane.. But I honestly know nothing about the group so was hoping you were gona do a deep-dive soon. AND HERE WE R!!! Hearing all the songs except black dress for the first time, Helicopter was my favorite, I guess they ended on a high note. Like always loved the video, and hope u have a great time on vacation!

Right after Elkie revealed that CUBE was halting all CLC promotions Yujin joined the show Girls Planet 999 and redebuted in Kep1er in a project group! Sorn and Elkie are doing solo stuff such as music and ads, same with Seungyeon! Seungyeon and Sorn just released a song together called ROWDY. Seunghee and Eunbin are still under CUBE, Seunghee was in a musical but she's pretty much in the dungeon but Eunbin is very active as an actress! And last but not least Yeeun debuted as a soloist with Cherry Coke and went on to participate on queendom puzzle and she is now about to redebut with the project group EL7Z UP!

The levels of ineptitude from Cube regarding CLC was astounding. When Devil dropped many fans didn't even know a comeback was incoming as Cube did almost nothing to promote it.

Not just CLC, though. There WAS a boy group that got disbanded from out of fucking nowhere...my memory is shot so I don't remember the name of the group or who was in it (I was never into boy groups anyway). All those decision-making Execs need to be treated the same way as they treated their idols. Fire them with prejudice, without notice. Seize ALL of their assets and property (cars, boats, homes, etc) and their bank accounts. Make the entire thing VERY PUBLIC so EVERYBODY knows exactly who they are. Don't let them work in the same industry, rail-road them AND Black-list them. NEVER allow them to be in charge of anybody else ever again. Give them ONE job option; they get to clean toilets for the rest of their lives, regardless of their education. They are such shitty people, they would get along just fine with the shit they clean up. It's the one job where they can be useful to society without being a danger to anybody else. They don't even get to hold the keys in order to do that job, they get to be supervised by a task-master. They will be yelled at for the smallest failures or mistakes and belittled the entire time they are on the clock. Make sure they are severely over-worked and severely under-paid. They get NO chance of EVER being promoted above anybody else. They don't get to live like kings or queens. They are allowed to SURVIVE by the skin of their teeth and their blood, sweat and tears, deservedly paupers. Let them scrounge for spare change in the street in order to be able to afford to feed themselves.

There's an inside joke among InSomnias and Chesires (it's not that popular of a joke but a few know of it), it's that CLC has been hanging around DC so much that the last half of DEVIL suddenly became creepy.

CLC's contracts with Cube have now ended, they are all free to do what they wish. Yes Cube stopped all development for thegroup after Helicopter and they had to wait it out, with Elkie and Sorn leaving before the end of the contract. They had so much potential and Cube wasted it with concept switchups and long gaps between comebacks. Will they do anything as a group again? who knows....never say never!

NO was special in 3 things: 1. They got the 1st win of their career, albeit very very late because screw CUBE Ent. 2. It was the song when they met DC when they were sharing a dressing room. 3. InSomnias went nuts in helping Chesires vote for NO, read number 1 again to see how that went.

CLC is CORE of girl crush concept of 3rd gen.....sadly that concept dies with 4th gen almost(only few groups doing that, but they are underrated more than CLC)

NO is that song I listen to when I need to feel like a badass 😂 Cube girl group rappers do kind of have a distinct style and you can somewhat blame this on EXID's rapper LE (now called Elly). Before debuting, Elly mentored 4minute's Hyuna who was and is still a super popular solo artist too. She helped her create that distinctive nasal sound. Hyuna then mentored CLC's Yeeun and then (G)idle's Soyeon happened. It's a chain reaction of awesome nasal rapping 😂 (that is broken with Lightsum since their rappers have a different style 🤣..but you never know, it might change) Honestly more than one EXID member was busy shaping the kpop industry before they even debuted. (Is this my subtle way of asking if EXID are on the throwback list? Maybe 😂) Anyway, back to CLC. I know the vibe of Devil is kind of different to the other more recent songs but I absolutely love it and I'm not sorry 😂 Also fun fact, La Vie En Rose by IZ*ONE was originally meant to be a CLC song. Really wish we got that version too. Cube struck big bucks with 4Minute and (G)idle, it really is a shame that CLC were not as popular. I hope they spend the effort to promote Lightsum properly now, but I somehow doubt it.

Yes 100% agree NO is that song! Don't be sorry about Devil I really enjoy that song too! I have a feeling Lightsum is gonna kinda get the same treatment that CLC did, unfortunately.... And yes EXID are on my list as well!

You are absolutely right about Cube, but they were REALLY bad with CLC. They kept them in cute concept way too long, and their comebacks were far and few in between. When they did the radical shift with Hobgoblin, they gained a lot of new fans, especially outside Korea. The very next song they came out with, was a dreamy ballad, while not a bad song, was a complete shift again from Hobgoblin, and didn't do well. It wasn't until Black Dress that they started gaining some momentum, but Cube just sat on them, didn't promote them, took a year to make a comeback with No, and just kept the snail's pace up. Especially after G-idle debuted, they basically put CLC out to pasture. CLC could have easily been one of the top 3rd gen girl groups, visuals, vocals, rap, dance, they had it all. I actually like Pepe as a debut, but they had the same problem as Minx, cutesy concept, didn't really stand out, they came from a bigger company, but they just weren't supported. Actually from what I understand, the CEO wanted them to fail, didn't want to support them at all. They should have been let out of their contracts if they were going to do that, but no they just put them in the basement, and let their talent go to waste.
