I am so happy you finally react to CLC, I really miss them, they were so talented and so underrated, they definitely deserved better. Now, Yujin is a member of Kep1er, Yeeun is soloist and a member of EL7Z UP (group that will debut soon), Sorn is soloist, Elkie is soloist in China, Seungyeon colaborated with Sorn, Seunghee and Eunbin are actresses under CUBE (Seunghee did a lot of covers in youtube, her voice is perfect!) CUBE was a mess with all of them, Sorn was mistreated for being thai, they sold La Vie en Rosé and Izone debuted with it and the members did not know it, they did not keep a solid concept, they did not have a lightstick, they released official colors in 2020, no tours, etc.

Hobgoblin is basically a 4Minute song. IIRC, it was written/produced by Hyuna. That's why it's such a huge stylistic break from the previous stuff.

CLC is legendary for me cause personally Yeeun is my favorite k rapper, seungyeon's is my favorite k dancer and seunghee's vocals are one of my favorites.

CLC was a group on the rise Pepe unfortunately was considered dated due to the previous "cutesy" style of previous gen. "Hobgoblin" was cowritten by Hyuna and the hard edm style was what CLC needed in concept change they campaign Thier label for which gained success and popularity especially with their fan base "Chesires" and new fans Rogue 😊

The girl group before them 4minute found success with those really strong beats, so when they felt they needed to change up clc to get more fans they opted to follow in 4minutes footsteps with the sound. I think hobgoblin was written by hyuna too.

The fandom is called Cheshire hence the cat. It's funny that you're drawn to my bias in this group too! I also love Seungyeon's tone and her dancing is excellent! She's the one who danced with SuA. Black Dress should have been the beginning of something great but yep, Cube fucked it up again! Eunbin learnt pole dancing so they used it in Black Dress but you should check out the short clip that she made - Hands To Myself. I always wished that Seunghee and Siyeon would do a collaboration. Seunghee is way underrated as a vocalist.

Say hello to my immovable Ult group. Dreamcatcher, Red Velvet and CLC. Black Dress is my favorite and there was a remix live stage at I think it was Countdown in like Taipei..... But there's a video on YT of a dance crew covering this song on the street and CLC joining them in the suits and it's one of my favorite videos on the Internet. This group is crazy in both personality and talent and they're also kinda fruity.... mainly Yujin.....

CLC was the 2nd group that i listen back in 2021 when i started in the kpop world. i love them so much, and for me they are one of the most wasted kpop ggs, they have one of the best female Main rappers in any group, for me Yeeun's only below Soyeon, Miryo(Brown eyed girls), Elly(Exid) and Yezi(Fiestar), and no for so much. Probably im a little biased but for me they also have the best 3th gen female Main dancer in Seungyeon. I was sad that i couldn't support them from the beginning, but now i support every one of them in what they do, because they're incredible talented womans. Pd: sorry if my english is bad.
