I just love this Bass, warm, rich and effortless. Just as it should be. In this song I would have liked more lead, the delicate nature of his delivery (just like his previous quartet) is at times overusing by the other singers. Great treatment of a classic. Loved the chart. Props to the arranger. Agreed about 3.19 chord, epic!

There were several unison notes followed by full chords. Actually a great effect. I'm surprised you "hated" it.
