I have this boxed but wanted the figures to display so I bought some loose ones. After seeing it up close, the Michael Myers figure despite it's shortcomings in articulation is my favorite looking figure. It's a little bigger than the other NECA figures but doesn't look out of place next to them. Unless you have light directly on it, the eyes are recessed so they will appear dark and it looks awesome. This won't happen at least not any time soon(the rights to Michael Myers are too expensive) but it would be cool to see an ultimate Michael Myers by NECA from part 1(or do all the masks form all the movies and have a true ultimate and charge more for it). But if it was just a part 1 ultimate, we could get the mask with the yes blacked out which is how he appears most of the movie, one with the eyes visible like it is in the final struggle with Laurie, and then a unmasked Michael from when Laurie pulls his mask off and we could get a mask for him to hold so if you wanted to have him displayed from that scene you could. I think the franchise is hurting themselves by having the rights so expensive. There really hasn't been a great Michael Myers figures since NECA last did them and any new ones aren't that great and are too expensive. Look at other horror franchises, we've had awesome NECA figures of Freddy, Jason, Chucky, Leatherface, Devil's Rejects for good prices and those figures can be displayed and on people's minds and people feel goodwill towards the franchises and remember how much they like them. But Halloween, I think fans feel some animosity towards the owners for not allowing new figures to be made by being unrealistic with their pricing for the rights. Look on eBay at what the NECA Halloween figures go for. There is clearly a demand and they would make money and excite people about the franchise again if they would get with the times and have reasonable pricing for the rights. Ultimately everyone suffers with how it is now. This have been my longest KZfaq comment ever, enjoy.

the plaque double as a nice bit for a mask display, nice review, im sure u could open up the hole of the pumpkin a bit to fit the pig but eh looks good anywhere around the set really, brings back memories of the early 2000's some good times.

I really enjoy your spooky spots ! I remember last year, I was really disappointed after Halloween, that I would have to wait another year to watch some new spots again. I own this boxset as well but I'm gonna sell it, because loomis has an Ugly paint chip right on the nose .

About the pumpkin, you could just get a Dremel and carefully expand the hole. Very, VERY carefully!

The way you get the pumpkin on you can put chap stick on the peg it actually worked for me..

At the bottom of the box, when you tilted, it said 2004... You probably already saw it, couldn't help myself. :) I love the light up pumpkin, reminds me of a gargoyle figurine I have. Kind wish you could take off Michael's mask, like his younger self in the Evolution of Evil set. He has been unmasked at least twice in the original film series. Most visibly on Halloween 1. Seeing that emaciated man-child face would have been creepy and interesting detail.

I got the evolution of evil set when I was 6, and I chose it not knowing what is actually was, and when I opened it up for Christmas my family was looking shocked because of it, and until a few years ago I released it came from and R 18+ movie

Got this off eBay the other day. I'm not sure about the paint job on Loomis's face. The nose is whiteish, which made me assume that the paint had been rubbed off. But judging from pictures on the internet and KZfaq vids, it appears to have been made that way. Can anyone verify? The Shape is superbly done. The mask looks exactly like it.

I hope these two figures get rereleased as retro Mego style figures

Spot, at the toyfair this year, someone asked NECA if they are going to make any more horror liscenesed figures, and they said, "we have a treat for anyone who loves the 31st" I'm PRETTY sure that was a hint at a michael myers line!

Spot is right, this has to be my favorite box set as well. It is also my favorite horror movie. Another series by NECA would be worth the Loomis figures alone! Come one a Loomis from 4 with black gloves a cane, scared face and a .45? I would have to pose him jumping behind steel drums before the gas pumps blew.....or next to an upside down bloody ambulance.

Don't worry its not you, technically the scene never happened in the movie, spose Neca opted to just create this for the purpose of having both figures together and on display, if memory serves Spot I don't believe Loomis actually confronts Michael with the mask on until the very end when he's choking Laurie upstairs in the house when he fires the first shot

You should stretch plastic wrap across from one post to the other and have Loomis pretending to run away with Michael caught in the plastic. It wouldn't make too much sense since he's walked straight through plate glass, but whatever.

The way John Carpenter tells it, they really only had about 5 leaves that they used over and over and over again for the movie. So there ya go.. Movie accurate! Heh heh...
