It really makes no sense for the R2 on this to be so telegraphed and take up so much stamina just to do as little damage as it does even fully charged.

Yeah they definitely screwed up removing the extra damage when infused

Still can't wrap my head around that with slight investment to int, the player can have access to long range tactical nukes but god forbid melee users have access to ranges more than an arm's lenght, except if it does abysmal damage

Claws of night can absolutely shred people but that’s a dex build option. Strength builds are pretty lacking in range

offhand beastclaw can combo into smithscript greathammer (L1 + R1 combo, timing required), also works with daggers and a few other weapons, however, you will more likely see off hand great katanas being more prominate.
