Right Lane Hog I do appreciate your kind words. Funny name but you may get a kick out of this. When I am not actually testing, racing or working is the best way to put it, my wife drives most of the time. She calls me granny because I just cruise down the road and never do stupid moves on a busy road. So many “cool dudes” lol always try to impress me by saying how fast they went down a main road. I usually tell them what’s on my mind and go slow it down. Thanks for clicking on my page 🤙

@@sanddrifterjb That is a very amusing story and a very rational approach from a professional driver. Today there are a lot of private racetracks out there where people can take things to the limit but public roadways need to be respected. Young drivers are in need of role models who can show them how to drive while laying down the law about the right place to demonstrate their skills . Frankly , it is a bit surprising to see that manufacturers keep loaning cars to those KZfaq channels that blatantly violate the rules on public roads. As a former Toyota test driver, I am curious to know whether the FJ and 2 door Prado are the same under the surface as I assume you drove both. I really, really liked the idea of the FJ as a cheaper genuine 4X4 from Toyota but the styling and the visibility were not great. However, that classic looking 2 door Prado with its short wheelbase and manual transmission would be a very nice entry level 4X4 to bring over here when the economy picks up again. Lastly, it is really important to decide whether your new channel is primarily meant to serve people or manufacturers. KZfaq does not need more marketing, it needs more worthwhile content.

@@rightlanehog3151 I agree 100% The FJ and Prado are based on the same platform but if I recall Toyota changed the wheelbase and a few other areas. We used the Prado 120 at the time as a (mule) prototype before we had our actual test vehicle. I am not promoting any company. I plan to be straight up and honest with everything I am speaking about. My goal with this channel is to inform people on real world test results, fun stories over my career and share knowledge I have obtained over the years.
