Good Morning, everytime I watch one of your videos, I think of El Guero Canelo. I went to college out their, good times! The TCA Airbus line up is definitely a great product. But it is limited to those who primary fly Airbus. Although I did learn that you can remove the detents on the throttle allowing it to be usable for Being aircraft as well. With that said, right now, I use the sidestick as my primary flight control and the Bravo as my primary Quadrant. This combo takes care of pretty much all aircraft. It allows me to have much more space on my desk and best of all, no more continuous switching out controls on my desk every time I want to fly a different aircraft. Great review! Can't wait to get a copy of Beyond ATC.

I use the in comparison super cheap Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas X for the A32NX. The twist on the stick is configured to control the tiller. The throttle doesn't have CL and FLX detents like the Airbus version but it has a center detent that I have configured for idle thrust. And below the center detent, I have configured reverse thrust. One downside is that although the throttle is detachable from the stick, the cable is short and there is not enough space for the keyboard between the stick and the throttle.

They have changed the side stick a bit since I got mine. No daisy chaining on my one and obviously they added more buttons to cater for the xbox users.

Thank you, what would you really recommend? Because I’m still thinking of the honeycomb bravo with the airbus mod. I like this because it comes with the parking brake and all of that. But what would you recommend?

Congrats, really great video. One question: would it be worth it for use with Flight Simulator but with a more general flight, for example with "light" aircraft, such as Cessna 152 or 172 (…or for Elite Dangerous)? I don't particularly like airliners but I still find the equipment reviewed very beautiful and complete, compared to other solutions. Alternatively, the usual X52 (pro) or X56.

FYI, "T.O. INHIBIT" is perfectly normal; it's just the warning computer letting you know that it is suppressing/hiding any warnings that aren't critical to takeoff, so you can focus on the takeoff. Same thing happens at landing with "LDG INHIBIT".

I really wish it had a few rotary encoders tbh. I'd rather have that than the engine switches for instance. That way you would have dials for everything you actually use regularly 👍

The sidestick is okay. I use it on Xbox MSFS and it works fine, but the problem with the throttle lever is that the sleeve of your shirt or jumper will inevitably nudge the lever downwards, and you loose power. Compared to using the xbox controller, the stick is ten times better. And it can be purchased on its own.

that's really annoying that the speedbrake lever doesn't lift up. I guess you could program a button to that? Otherwise going to have virtually do it everytime you move the landing gear basically. I just downloaded MSFS. What is the Fly By Wire you speak of and is it easy to set up? Does it only apply to the Airbus model?

When I use the rudder trim, it doesn't seem to change the value, the little knob moves on the SIM but the value never changes. Why would that be?

thrust have problem, i set to ilde but thurst alway at 50%, if i set rev, it go to idle

I’m dying for you to do a button mapping video using this flight stick with the Citation Longitude! Just bought this a week ago and pretty much have most of the mapping done but would love to see your suggestions! Question… you mentioned “loading the drivers”. Does this need to be done on a computer first if you’re using it on Xbox???

For the money it's a fair price for and entry-level controller setup especially for Xbox players. I have to disagree with you and your hands statement though. Those are hand model hands if I ever saw them! Lol! Great video!

Please sir I want to ask I was going to buy my first flight sim joystick, and this pack is on top of my list. But I don't want to spend 299$ dollar just to get stuck flying airbus whole time. My question is can I fly any airplane in the sim with joystick pack sir? And if i can reduce the cost, would it be better to just buy yoke and the throttle? Please reply sir, and thank you so much before. (Flight sim that I mainly play is msfs and x-plane)

I would highly recommend avoiding this type of controller because of it's internal design. Spend a little more and get something with a hall sensor and non plastic internals. Check Virpil, Winwing ect.

So... I agree on this point, what is tiring is not finding similar equipment, not too expensive, with, above all, a suitable lifespan. Winwingn vkb and the others are more focused on fighter aircraft equipment.... even honeycomb does not seem to be capable of surpassing thrustmaster, in terms of lifespan.

@@THESHADOW97139 The tradeoff is well worth the fighter style controls. You can get a basic throttle from winwing that does not have all the fighter switches on it. But the life to value is rare as they are all metal.

Only thing I don’t like about the tca pack is that you have to tighten the throttles and even so the right one always produces less thrust than the left one and then there’s the twist rudder that’s sooo bad can’t find a good sensitivity so my airplane just wobbles down the runway

Just to mention quickly: for XBox it is not possible to buy stick and quadrant seperately nor can you buy the stick itself seperately.

It is possible. A long as you buy the “Sidestick X” which is for xbox, you can buy the throttle quadrant and quadrant addon seperately

Little bit anal here and not that it really matters, but ideally Engine 2 should be started first, as it feeds the hydraulic systems related to braking/parking brake!

That is actually incorrect. I’m an actual A320 Captain and Engine One is always started first in practice at least at my airline. In theory the manual would allow Engine 2 so be started first but it is not done. In the case of an air cart start the manual requires you to start Engine One first. Part of your pre flight check is checking brake pressure. The accumulator will hold brake pressure for up to 24 hours. If brake pressure is low, then yellow electric pump on for several seconds during preflight will correct the problem.
