Hi Tony, I need to spend some time with it, but from my initial impressions & a design perspective I think this has a much nicer action than my Rhino....that being said they are very different beasts. I'm looking to get a new joystick for the new flight sim coming out. Both this and the x52 pro are at £149 at the moment. Which one would you reccomend I get I'm very torn between them.

Iwan, I am working on a What Controller should I get video ATM. There are a lot of variable, so maybe wait a couple of days and watch that; I think it could help you decide :-)

That’s very interesting. It looks like a very nice piece of kit, but I wonder if it’s worth buying it as I already own the T16000, with which I’ve been very pleased, as I have with the other Thrustmaster kit I own. I’ll be very interested to see your review of the throttle quadrant, when it’s released.

Hey Joe, thanks. Yeah I don't have a t16000 to test/compare, but certainly some similarities exist. Can you lock the Yaw on a T16000?

@@SimUKReviews From what I can tell from this vid and my own stick, it gives me the impression they took a t16k stick and slightly updated/changed it. The base is essentially the same, with the throttle slider receiving a slight update (throttle detent), and a different graphical design+colour set. The stick itself obviously has those swappable side buttons, but ends up without the (swappable) thumb rest, and 1 fewer button in total (t16k has trigger+ 3 on top+pov hat without click). I already found that aspect rather lacking, but for the TCA Sidestick it's not unreasonable. After all, you don't need 25346 buttons and hats to control the dozens of sensor and weapon stations, as you do in DCS. Not entirely sure since I haven't handled it, but it appears as if they didn't change the mainspring either. It might make it have a good centre, but it's rather violent with it's recentering, and prolonged small adjustments, for example during AAR, can be a bit tiring.

Yes, but also could be ideal for Space sims (with a duel sidestick approach).

Thanks so much! Yeah I thought about it for a long time, it's something I hoped I would never have to ask. We have nearly 20,000 subs & over 1.5 million views a year, this seemed a fair enough request, just a small donation from enough people could make a huge diff. I do my best to save people money and avoid bad games, I didn't want to ask too much.
