The World's only surviving 3-car unrefurbished non-corridor class 207 3D Sussex/Oxted DEMU starts up on 14th April 2011 for the first time since the summer of 2010. A little claggy to start with but she soon settled down. A shaky hand-held fobile moan video.

I love the way you can hear the injectors start to squeak as the rack opens just before it starts,brilliant EE clag and turbo whistle

It is at the moment due to be running on the 7 th of July this year and then at the spa valleys diesel gala on 3-5 of August

I attended Maple Road school, right beside the embankment north of Upper Warlingham Station, during the early 1960's. During the time I attended the school, steam was gradually replaced by these DMU's. and we thought that these were "new fangled crap"! Now, like you, one yearns to ride on them again!!!!
