I mean he came back with a bag from a floating island, don’t you think that’s suspicious enough not to open, And he stayed awake for 9 days to keep it from being opened, but they still weren’t able to see the importance of it remaining closed.

I think if we wanna get into specifics it is technically Ody’s fault in the sense that he lost his Crews trust even as far back as Polyphemus. Ultimately if Odysseus never pulled that shit the other events wouldn’t have followed, would u also really trust someone who supposed to be ur king and general who literally fucking doxxed himself to the monster they just hurt??
