The Big Score cards skew this a lot, since they were originally a tiny follow-up Aftermath set thing, until Wizards saw how horrendously that product was received. So they crammed the entire mini set into this and made every card a Mythic. Who knows why.

​@@DrinkToForgetThermothey put _The Big Score_ in the List slot along with the Special Guests and slightly increased the List rate to 1:5 packs due to the Standard legality of _The Big Score_ . There are 30 cards in _The Big Score_ , all of which are Mythic Rare. Originally, it was going to be an epilogue set with 15 Uncommons and 35 Rares and Mythic Rares, but they swapped Jace into the main set for another card and upshifted every Rare (and potentially even a couple Uncommons) they kept so that all the cards occur at the same frequency in the List slot. In addition to this, there is a Bonus Sheet, _Breaking News_ , replacing a Common slot in each pack, which starts at Uncommon and goes up to Mythic Rare, and two Wildcard slots, one foil and one standard, which each have a chance to be any card. With this in mind, a Play Booster of OTJ can have up to 5 Mythic Rares, but if that happens, you should buy a lottery ticket 😅.

I looked at the rulings, and nothing says if it loses the Creature type, it loses the ability. Also, the official rules text refers to the object being saddled as a Permanent. It's worth investigating further, but I assume it still functions. It won't do anything, though, since the ability doesn't turn the Permanent into a Creature, and Mounts only take advantage of being saddled when they attack. If you animated the Treasure Token, it would then function similarly to the original Mount, but unfortunately, the bulk of those effects are in Blue, meaning it would be difficult to pull of with Vraska as a Commander in EDH/Brawl.

yes. official saddle text reads as follows: "Saddle N" means "Tap any number of other untapped creatures you control with total power N or greater: This permanent becomes saddled until end of turn. Activate only as a sorcery," but there's only one mount with a saddle ability that doesn't trigger on attack or damage so the usefulness of this information is minimal for the record, vehicles also say "this permanent" in official text so those would also still work

What do you mean by "normally"? And they aren't random, only "random" like any card in Limited is random. People act like zero thought is put into the extra slot cards.

he can just pay the 2 and kill her if he just not saddles ... he then takes adam to 1hp and has 2 creatures left so i figure he not know he doesnt have to saddle ?

​@@DaxRaiderthe Opossum has base stats 3/3. It would need to be mounted to become powerful enough to deal lethal damage to Gisa. That's the entire reason it didn't work out.

Not only could he have done that, but targeting those creatures would have committed a crime- untapping his Hardbristle bandit

Gisa is a 4/4 so he wanted to saddle to make the fight spell do 4 damage instead of 3 damage.

Given he attacks with an unsaddled mount literally the very next game, yes, he knows. He has to saddle the possum before casting the sorcery because its base p/t is 3/3, and Gisa's base is 4/4, so unless the possum's power was boosted by the saddling, that wouldn't have worked at all. Unfortunately, even if Ben had 1 more mana to pay for Gisa's ward it wouldn't have worked because it isn't the act of saddling the creature that gives the possum the p/t boost, the possum has to attack once saddled in order to get the +1/+2. On that board state and with the information we know, Ben has no way of killing anything other than a combo of the untapped zombie and his own mana dork. (That then runs into the discussion they had post-game about other lines, etc). Edit to be completely thorough: He could have not saddled the possum and used the mana from the untapped mana dork to pay for gisa's ward, thus being able to target both untapped creatures, killing the zombie and marking 3 damage on Gisa without killing her. Swinging the possum doesn't hard force the block now. But as Ben said right at the end of things - Adam has a Sword here and Ben has 3 lands in hand. He is not Literally Dead but definitely a respectable scoop.

We find it’s handy for editing flow, and for viewers to follow what’s happening. Plus, it gives players a chance to explain (or defend, lol) their thought process during the draft.

@@LRRMTG if people can't follow along, couldn't they just rewind it a bit, or is that something that makes people stop watching or not come back?

Even with our very loose table talk, nobody is explaining their picks during the draft. The only way we know what cards people are taking is from the interview section. Otherwise the draft video would end and the viewer would have no idea what people had picked.

Personal opinion, I like the confessional booth parts waaaaaay more than a table draft that is normally on FNPF, oftentimes theres too much dead air in the normal drafts and I like the insights and how its edited down
