I love Thunderball; one of my all-time favorite Bond movies. I think the Bahamas location-shooting is a big part of why that is. I love where Thunderball takes place.

Love this video. I have booked my Wife & I’s 30th Anniversary in February there. Staying at an Atlantis rental down the road from the Ocean Club. I am planning SO much for this upcoming trip ! So many 007 moments !

Awesome video Dave. Thanks for reenacting the scenes there so well. And in Bond appropriate attire no less. I did a similar trek to Martha's Vineyard for the JAWS locations.

That was a superlative video sir. So glad you got to speak to Michele Wiltshire. Unfortunately, she was travelling and then heavily involved with work at the time of writing the book. We never got to speak. She has some brilliant stories.

Wish I had made the trip. Blew my knee out right before. Your fit look coming out of the water has motivated me to get in shape. Also, Sean Connery was at the top of his game physically and as Bond. Thanks for your content. Curtis

I was able to jump in from the public side of the lagoon and climb the stars. Thanks for the tip of you mention that you should probably wear water shoes. The rock steps were really sharp.

Excellent. I had no idea that TB had filmed so close to (or practically on) where Atlantis is now located. Thunderball is in my top 4 of all time.

Planet Ocean was THE Bond Watch for the Craig era for me. I liked it a lot more than the Professional Diver that he wore in CR. Second favorite was the AT.

Just watched the video. David going to the Bahamas in a couple days, but not staying at Atlantis. Is the Bond steps you walked up open to the public? I will be visiting cabbage beach next to Atlantis.
