I really hope they actually show what other abilities his new vibranium arm has. It was criminally underutilized in the falcon show. I also think songbird or moonstone should have been introduced in this film.

I think Bucky/Winter Soldier is definitely one of MCU's most interesting & mysterious characters. And Sebastian Stan has been fantastic in the role! I'm hoping he plays a prominent role in Thunderbolts films too! This will be an intriguing mix of heroes...

I was thinking the same thing. Ross ends up saying something about he doesn't want his name tied to the team at all because of all the shady things they do and since they operate clandestine Val says well we can't use the Avengers but we could call ourselves the Dark Avengers or something like that. And I actually like that Thunderbolts Justice like lightning. Rise of the Dark Avengers.

I'm personally very excited for this movie. I love it when Marvel does team up movies because it lets them play to their strengths: character interactions. That, to me, is the bread and butter of Marvel movies, just seeing these characters come together, whether it's to fight or just talk to one another.

I have a feeling that this movie will actually have a meaningful story. I also believe they will develop these characters very well. Lastly, I really hope we will see General Ross get so upset that his eyes turn red, setting up the Red Hulk to show up soon after. Thanks, Charlie!!

I don't know that Thunderbolt Ross will be in the movie. We'll see! It depends on how Captain America Brave New World ends. That movie comes out right before Thunderbolts.

It's really a shame they didn't take the opportunity to say that since Bucky's arm was artificial, it didn't get snapped along with his actual body. Then, Nebula went to Wakanda and found it on the ground in the spot where he got snapped, picked it up and gifted it to rocket. Then, once Bucky came back during Endgame, there was an off-screen moment where Rocket sells it back to him or gives it back in exchange for a favor to be named later. Boom. Continuity AND hilarity maintained.

It was in a holiday special, it’s BARELY canon, should have no relevance and no events that took place had any mention in the next movie. You’d figure quill being mantis sister would be more than just a Christmas present and would be a very strong point in gotg 3, but it was never mentioned again. Aside from quill, the guardians never even recognized what counter earth was supposed to mimic in gotg3, but prior in a holiday special… stole Kevin bacon? Cmon…

That’s a great theory behind the title. Cap 4 comes out first, so I’d imagine some of that will deal with forming a new Avengers team. Sam won’t be onboard, so Thunderbolts will be “Avengers”. To add to Charlie’s theory, something will go wrong and the team will get thrown under the bus by Val thus becoming villains. Itll play out like the beginning of Civil War how the heroes were blamed for the collateral damage except something worse will happen.

Charlie, I think true name reveal of the movie will happen at the end of the movie, right before the credits roll, kind of like how the falcon and the winter soldier became captain america and the winter soldier at the end of the final episode! Hopefully we will see what baron zemo and power broker/sharon carter are secretly planning and scheming.

I think one of the post credit scenes for Thunderbolts* will reveal Norman Osborn as the new consult for the group. Basically taking over Tony Stark's old position on the team. William Defoe would be a fun addition, or whoever gets the job.

DaFoe is too old at this point; for one movie like No Way Home, he’s great, but I can’t see him being Osborn for 10 to 12 years across 4 or5 movies; whoever they cast for the actual MCU(616) universe Osborne, will probably be in his mid to late 40s.

They already cast Wonder Man a year and a half ago. How about Thor Maverick Wonder Man Sunspot and Dark hawk. I think Doom is going to wipe out The council of Kangs and Prime Kang will flee back to the 31st century. Either Galactus wipes out their planet no more council of Kangs and only one or two flee. Or one of the Celestials does it instead. Just so we can see how powerful they both are

More likely Nebula stole the arm while Bucky was wearing a more human looking arm (for civilian life). The Wakandan’s can build Bucky an upgraded arm anytime, so there’s no need for Rocket to return it. In fact, it would be more fitting if Rocket used that arm for something cool in the next Guardians of the Galaxy movie.😂

Could be that the government forms it's own Avengers team out of the Thunderbolt's but during the events of Avengers 5 the team gets pasted so Sam and his chosen Avengers recruits plus any survivors from the Thunderbolt's have to come together to form the actual New Avengers and save the day.

I'm sure if they go full Dark Avengers by the post credit scene in the movie, they'll have to explain it during Avengers 5 at some point in the beginning. It wouldn't make sense to have two avengers teams going into that movie and not address it.

One problem I have with this video is when you said the government gave the mantle of cap america to someone else under Falcon's nose. If I recall correctly from the show, Sam gave up the shield and the mantle to the government. He didn't want it at first. Why do people act like it was taken from him?!

I wonder if the big surprise ending will be 2 surprises. 1) Thunderbolts will be renamed to either "The New Avengers or Secret Avengers. 2) Sam, aka the new Captain America will make a cameo and join The new Avengers team. As for the old Avengers like Thor, Hulk, Captain Marvel, Falcon/Cpt America, and Ant Man, I can see maybe a cpl members from Thunderbolts crossing over. And we could see a surprise member or two of The Avengers appearong in Thunderbolts.

No one is replacing no one.... Well, the original cast is not being replaced yet, but it will. I can understand your preference for writing on walls, but I think technology give us options, I can watch old movies, new movies, read old comics, new comics. I know this tecnology does not exist for you yet, but believe me, in 5000 years or so you will be able to buy something called cellphone. It will blow your mind.

I'm still waiting for an explanation for the giant Celestial that was almost birthed out of the freaking earth. It stresses me out knowing all the movies that came out after Eternals are not addressing this, and the world seems to have not noticed. I'm not saying everything has to be interconnected, but it really gave much attention to the world building and felt like the people on Earth and world governments really were affected by these events. Perfect examples, Thor's hammer lands in New Mexico, shield investigates, Thor movie comes out. Shield collapses in Cap Winter Solider, world governments take a foothold on super hero intervention and politics. Iron man discovers arc reactor, weapons manufacturers try to imitate the technology for the arms race. See where I'm getting at? These subsequent movies don't seem to really care what's going on in other movies. But this is simply my opinion.

The symbol in the thunderbolts title is easy. The team is the thunderbolt and the people on that team change. Avengers don’t need that symbol because the roaster doesn’t change

Honestly I think Bucky Barnes should be the lead to Thunderbolts 🙏👍. I think he deserves a because that's why I'm excited for the thunderbolt not just that but to see Bucky again I am glad there's some updates of seeing Bucky and I really hope there's much role in Thunderbolts. I think the official title will be Thunderbolts: The Dark Avengers. If Ross dies in Cap 4, I could see Val putting the team together to avenge him, and honoring him by naming the team after him.
