Hi Haggard RC. Love your channel. Really love the format and your nitro enthousiasm. I have a very specific question about the Tunder Tiger eb4 (original pro 21 engine). I have noticed that when the carb is too hot, it is impossible to start the engine back again right after a good session of bashing. Which seemed to me counterintuitive at first since i initially though the engine would always be easier to startup once hot. Now i belive i figured that out. I suspect the fuel being evaporated inside the carb when it is too hot, causing the priming step temporarly useless. Few minutes later, when the carb has cooled down a little bit, the priming step is effective again and the engine can be started easily. Have you ever encounterd the same kind of issue? Does my theory seem crazy to you? Unfortunately, i don't have a temperature gun to check my point... Do you think this issue could be an sign of engine overheating?

Hi, it’s normal sometimes on petrol and Nitro engines, just prime it and it’ll start again… I don’t have it happen often but it can happen obviously… Nothing to worry about in my opinion just prime her up again and away you go! I wouldn’t say it’s over heating. There is something called vapour lock which can cause the fuel to have an air lock in the pipe due to heat but whether that’s happening in your case I couldn’t say. Either way, nothing to worry about 👍🏻
