i will have to keep an eye out for these ingredients next visit to the Asian grocery. some are easy or i already have, but the rhizome's and young peppercorns are totally new to me. as usual, beautiful and relaxing video. if you're ever inclined, i'd love to see the interior of your home.

Check the jarred or pickled sections for the young green peppercorn. I usually find them in a brine. I give it a good rinse and it's ready to use. They taste like vibrant black pepper. I rarely find the fingerroot rhizome fresh, it's either in the jarred sections of the Asian store, in some type of brine, or in the frozen refrigerated section. With a quick rinse, it is just as aromatic and flavorful as the fresh one. It has an herbal, earthy aroma. Thank you so much for watching!
