Damn, the early 2000's were a great time to be alive. I was a teenager when this came out and I watched it repeatedly on FUSE, and even put this song on my MySpace player. Geoff always reminded me of my younger brother's friend. This song has gotta be like 15 years old now, but it still GOES OFF.

It’s so weird, I find myself thinking of this song randomly at times, even though i haven’t heard the song in over 10 years. It’s not like the song was that big a hit or that I was a big fan. Lyrics: this is what you see when you look in my direction: incandescent corsets draw eyes tight like wires. this is how it feels, calling out but no one even hears the signals that we send over the air over the air over the air over the air. when you say my name, i want to split it from your lips and hide like whispers in the rain. when you say (when you say) my name (when you say it) i want to stop it in your lungs and collect all of your blood to put in the radio. is this how it feels when you dont even fit into your own skin? and its getting tighter, every day i'm getting smaller if i keep holding my breath i'm going to disappear. when you say my name, i want to split it from your lips and hide like whispers in the rain. when you say (when you say) my name (when you say it) i want to stop it in your lungs and collect all of your blood to put in the radio. there's no where to hide. they stole the love from our lives to put the sex on the radio. there's no where to hide. they stole the love from our lives to put the sex on. if i keep holding my breath, all of this will fade away. if you keep driving we'll be lying in the wreck. changing the shape, folding like an envelope to keep each other in. shattered glass, broken looks, and mascara gets washed away by windshield wiper blades safe, safe when you say (when you say) my name (when you say my name), i want to split it from your lips and hide like whispers in the rain. when you say (when you say) my name (my name) i want to stop it in your lungs and collect all of your blood to put in the radio. there's no where to hide. they stole the love from our lives to put the sex on the radio. there's no where to hide. they stole the love from our lives to put the sex on the radio. that's where we hide the love and lies and sex, on the radio.

That drum beat, i think it's called cimbal, sounds absolutely amazing, specially in the chorus, it makes me want to rewind this song non-stop!

I think you’re talking about the snare drum. That’s the most prominent thing you can hear from the drums here.

@@lucasneuhaus6570 yessss the snare! It's got me beating the table on the chorus! So good 😎

Idk about anyone else but I just turned 33 and this is my young teen years. My emo/punk days when hot topic and pac sun we're just starting and popular. Like ugh this is beyond nostalgic for me

You just turned 33 and you think your _teens_ were when hot topic was just starting and popular? Pally, I hate to inform you, but hot topic was already a huge phenomenon by the mid 90s when you were what, five years old? In 1996 it was already a fixture of malls everywhere. It was FOUNDED in 1989. Pacsun is even older. Get a grip.

@@orbitalbutt6757 comment from seven months ago.. telling me get a grip??? Get a life bro. You really have a lot of time on your hands. And yes where I'm FROM it got HOT in the late 90s numb nuts. Stfu with your technicalities and your keyboard junkie crap. Lmao 🤣 👍👋🗑️

Dude this song is AMAZING. THIS BAND IS EPIC OKAY? Who could disagree with me? His voice is perfect....This is what real music sounds like! If you don't agree you need to get the earwax out of your ears and replay it.

This song sums up my entire high school experience, and that's not a bad thing. Thursday and Thrice put out bangers that helped me keep going.
