醫管局於2012 年建議在天水圍興建一所新醫院，以配合該區人口及服務需求的增長。
工程於2016年9月竣工，新醫院於2017年1月開始分階段投入服務。
The Hospital Authority proposed in 2012 to construct a new hospital in Tin Shui Wai to meet the
service demand growth of the area with an expanding population.
The construction was completed in September 2016 and the new hospital commenced the first phase of patient services in January 2017.
