Tibet Travel ( Tibet Vista )

29 күн бұрын

When I drove from Lhasa towards China border close to Nepal, I passed through Shigatse, the second-largest city in Tibet, then through the Tingri Himalaya Nature Reserve, and finally arrived at the town of Kerung nestled in the forested canyons at the foot of the Himalayas. The most astounding part of this journey was visiting the purest Tibetan Mastiff breeding base. These unique Oriental divine dogs of Tibet, the world's fiercest dogs, are protected and bred here. They are not only the fiercest but also the most loyal dogs in the world, safeguarding the cattle, sheep, and family properties of the Tibetan pastoralists. Tibetan Mastiffs are loyal companions and family members to the Tibetan People.
What amazed me the most was that this breeding base produces hundreds of purebred, wild-natured Tibetan Mastiff puppies every year for pastoral families across Tibet, including the Kham and Amdo regions. This effort helps to preserve and develop this ancient breed of domestic dogs.
Driving westward from Lhasa into the central Himalayas, I encountered countless mountains over 7,000 meters and even above 8,000 meters, forming the backbone of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. Tibet is my homeland, and I love her immensely.
If you are interested in visiting Tibet and see this ancient Oriental dogs, please do plan a trip to Tibet, and do contact me at jamyangtour@gmail.com , I will take you there.

About Me - Jamyang
I am Jamyang, and I have been working as a tour guide with Tibet Vista Tour for 15 years. In 2020, during the Covid-19 global pandemic, I lost my job of being a tour guide, with the support of the company, I immersed myself in filming videos and documenting the culture of Tibet. My goal is to share the beautiful landscapes of Tibet, Tibetan culture, and the genuine and enchanting lifestyle of the local Tibetans with people around the world who love and care about my beloved hometown Tibet. If you plan to visit Tibet, be sure to get in touch with me. I can show you the best and most authentic Tibet.

Why is tibet china so developed?? i watched some youtube on tibetans on the nepal and india side, they are still so primitive like back in stone age. the government is to make people live better, not backward. if i'm those tibetan on the nepal or india side, i want to go back to the china side.

Tibetan mastiffs are the most loyal dogs to their owners. They are large fierce dogs in China and most families cannot afford to keep them. But these Tibetan mastiffs look too dirty. If they are sold at such a high price, why don’t they keep the kennels and dogs clean and beautiful?

In the old days when the Nobles and Dalai Lama in power all Tibetan people were slaves. Their eyeballs could be dug out if they couldn't pay tax and rent. Sometimes one hand will be chopped down as punishment. These miserable history is evidenced by many documentary and photos retained in the museums. Tibet is now developed and its GDP growth is the most rapid in this decade compared with all other provinces in China. From no road to modern highways and trains as well as High Speed Rail Train nowadays in Tibet all show that Tibetan people enjoy better than before life.

it's mainly because Tibetan Mastiff is forbidden to raised in many of China's cities now, 藏獒被列进了中国城市禁养烈性犬名单里了.before this kind of policy appeared in the cities Tibetan Mastiff was the most popular and most expensive pet dog in inland China ,one Tibetan Mastiff could be sold at over 10 million RMB (1.5 million dollars)in inland China .Tibetan Mastiff is very loyal to their owner ,so it often attacks other unfamiliar targets who comes close to the owner. it's still popular in inland China ,but can't be bought because of the local policy .
