My best game ever was a Matilda game, when the tank was still kinda new to the game. 10 kills! Muppets just kept coming around the corner, 1 at a time.

I was accused of hacking once,5,6 tanks in front of me not able to pen. I was just sitting there and shooting not sure what was happening.😂

If we can learn one thing from this game is that we don't really need to heal our driver in a Matilda...and waste 3.000 credits or whatever.

i am biased but I love the Matilda, a nice slow sedate killer; none of this running around nonsense. But sometimes by the time you drive it to a shot the game is all over

We have all been there, and I ask everyone, the game was more enjoyable then, and went down hill somewhat once you got to tier 10. Its like looking at your kids growing up and loving their innocence and saying don't grow up you have responsibilities like, loosing credits left right and Charlie, meeting Mr OBJ 279E and Mr Chieftain and asking yourself where did the fun go. Great commentary Claus, always brings a smile to my face.

I recently had a great game in the Matty on that same map. Fighting a platoon of seal clubbing S35s I was the last alive against 7 tanks. I killed them all and when I congratulated the S35 platoon on a game hard fought they all said they were gonna mass report me for cheating. NOTHING more satisfying that have such a great battle the enemy thinks the only way you possibly could have won was cheating. Ahahahah!🤣🤣

I'm starting to feel the same way. Sometimes I play tier 8s amd 9s but mostly 7 and below. If I'm playing a game I want to have fun lol

I like playing tier 5, 6, but the amount of OP leafblowers in the game makes it not as fun to play anymore. Nothing like being consistently hit for 400hp in a Tier 6 medium tank by a tier 5 arty.

I've taken a three month break aswell, no higher than Tier 6, occasionally Tier 7 for me anymore, too many 'Veeled Weircles' higher up the food chain spoiling it for everyone else. As for the Matilda, I have two Kohlabanov and one Radley Walters in four years of playing - wanna guess what I was driving when I got those medals ? - yep the good ol' Matilda (even before I had 6th Sense on my commander). Loved it back then and it'll probably be the first tank I play when I go back to the game. As ever Mr K, thanks for the laughs and especially thanks for remembering that we all start somewhere - WoT isn't only about the latest favourite high tier uber-tanks slugging it out at the usual choke-points. Mid Tiers are the fun'est tiers, full stop. Best from New Zealand (where our games is often 80% bots !).

he has the server reticle setting enabled. So it tracks where the server thinks his gun is aiming. it provides more accurate feedback than client sided reticle.

I can't play with this setting and had much better results without it. Looks like this guy struggles with the sluggishness as well. Not worth it imo.

I like the Matilda. Shes a keeper. And the Pounder gun is damn shoots fast, almost autoloader fast.

Remember a few years ago when Wargaming gave everyone the Pz B2 as a rental? It's got a tier II gun. Well, me and my friends decided to roll out in our Matildas and had the easiest games of our lives lmao. I don't play low tiers anymore but I'll always love this tank

Heal your driver!! His mouse was jumping around because he has his sensitivity set too high. It took me years to realize that. Also, having dead crew members doesn't help much. He could have a crap connection too.

Thanks for doing what you do Claus, after wasting first 3k games figuring out what I'm doing, started to get it, then ran into a big run of bad line ups, brutal rng and cheating players. Took a 3 month break. THE only reason I kept the account up, was because of your sarcastically fun enthusiastic perspective for the game. Thank you for keeping it fun. The Darth returns Tuesday morning.

Network Reticle checked in the menu, it's a setting, where he is aiming and where the network is feeling actually the aiming is

Claus - please - screw the top tier battles !! Low tier engagements are way much too fun to watch and your commentary to them is priceless. This game should be so fun like this and from my memories - WAS many years ago.

I got these two. Both need a good crew. The PZ IV D is a collectors tank now. Mine shoots more accurate with equipment to improve aiming.

🤔I cannot say I have been playing long (about 16k games - playing WOT now for about a year and a few months) but in all my games, I have never had the luck like this two had! Incredible😳! They were just rolling in it 😄The Matilda was definitely the most painful to watch . . . 8km/hr . . . . as you say, not bad for a beginner 🤭 hilarious. Thank you Claus, as always for sharing such epic pieces 🤗 really enjoyed that as usual

The older tanks are worth revisiting as the meta changed and some of them behave the same, worse or even better if they got buffed a bit! Thanks for bringing these old machines back into the spotlight, Claus!

Thanks for featuring more low tier games. As you know alot of wild stuff goes on in the lower tiers. I'm working on collecting all the tech tree tanks. I have 259 so far and play them all, some sit for a long time before I get back to them but I play every one of them at some point. I think the Matilda driver hasn't turned down his mouse sensitivity, that's my guess anyway. Keep up the good work and cheers! 🙂

That first game was so painful to watch. 😆 Why don't people have their med kit in the 4 slot and the repair kit in the 5 slot? If your med kit is in the 4 slot, you double-tap 4 to heal your driver. With the repair kit you double-tap 5 to fix your tracks. So easy.

I used to LOVE being top tier in my Matilda. I'd say that was the only time I really enjoyed this game. The gun made me a match for any other tier 4 and I seal clubbed all the tier 3's. I remember one time on mines I was the last man standing and 3 enemies, tier 3, were shooting me from all directions and weren't penning. I bet they sh*t their pants WTF???lolol.

The shot at 01:06min. was a number '2' shell from 5 cm Kw.K. 37 L/42 or .../60. With either 96pen or 130pen, both don't have much against Mathilda?! It should have counted as bounced..... Please ask Shirley for help!

I did 3.3k on Westfield in Matilda..happy to find arty with 15 sec left to pick up my tenth kill. No bots just pretty bad players. I played a battle on Himmelsdorf in pzs35, went on hill and killed the only enemy up there. It was then 1.40min into the battle and the score was 3 vs 12! So I went down and killed 11 of them to win the game and get 12 kills.

I’ve been yelling “” Hear your driver! “” , but it’s not working! I got eleven once. Oh, heal your driver. No wonder he didn’t hear me … yes, his aiming reticle was not cooperating. RNG decided.

my best games were in the M2 light and the Alecto each with 11 kills. I really wish that WG would make a more in-depth boot camp to teach new players how to use consumables, how to equip their tanks, and how the games mechanics' work.

The Matildas a beast at top tier. I got a Resinai heros medal with mine. With a full trained crew it's hard to beat at tier 4 and even five with the right M M.

I have done 12 kills in my Matilda, but I am a pretty good player and had to think real hard how to carry that game. This was unbelievable. I'm still unsure how all the stars aligned for him so perfectly to get 13 and the cherry on top being the noob opposition Matilda spamming HE with the 3 inch Howitzer. lol.
