I enjoy most of the British heavy tank destroyer line. The tortoise is by far my favorite. I work so hard to get to tier 10 just to have the badger be a complete letdown. To me it doesn't really do anything better than the tortoise. It's a little bit faster, but because it's shorter it's harder to use certain cover and the second enemy sees you they're just going to load gold and most of the time goes straight through your statistically great armor. I have had games where the armor works great, but I have had others in the same situation where the armor is nothing. The tortoise to me has better armor and even though it's slower with a similar if if not the same DPM means the tortoise is better tier for tier. Yeah the badger can hit harder per shot, but that extra second or so reload just kills it for me. I honestly think the badger needs an a buff. Either add some more armor thickness to the front or buff the DPM a little bit. I feel like it needs at least 10% more DPM than the tortoise to be relevant.

For me AT 2 was most fun, rest of tanks was just enemies shooting the weak spots constantly and having laser precision. The worst was AT15 with everyone shooting gold it was hard to bounce.

Indeed The only letdown would be the AT-15 but even then it's not that bad and it'd worth it for the tortoise

Tanks are good but really slow. and that's bad in wot in 2022. Also, most of them have pretty low alpha damage. When you get top gun, on most of them, it gets a bit better. Other than that, tanks are fine. Good frontal armor, most of them have big cupolas but top and bottom part of most cupolas are auto ricochet. What's amazing about those tanks isn't the armor, although this might be one of the heaviest armored TD lines (maybe even the most heavily armored, more than E3 or Obj 264 v4 line). The most amazing thing about those tanks is rate of fire and DPM. It's really sad to watch when someone gets in front of you without any cover ...

I love ATs because its one of the still useble while balanced and fun vehicles that are in the game for very long time. Its shame that we can't have tanks with copulas anymore...

Damn. I’m sorry it’s been like that for you. I stopped playing the game “properly” as soon as equipment 2.0 arrived. A E50 or Obj 263 with a turbo, hardening, and modified config running gasoline is how I’ve been finding my fun at higher tiers. Ramming has become the great equalizer. Chieftain sweatlords never expect German steel at Mach 10.

At8 1v5ed us once to win the game once. Its too powerful I flee on sight from it.

True. People didnt like it cause it was slower than P43 ter, average pen and accuracy. But that 240 alpha with decent turret and best camo out of all tier VI meds I considered it almost as good as T-34/85M. Try B.U.G.I. Less armor and camo, but a better gun.

I wouldn't consider the list accurate, when 5th best tier VI vehicle was Churchill Gun carrier...

P.43 BIS really stands out when the tier 5 and 7 tanks are so horrid. The bis also used to have another advantage- the HE shells had relatively high pen and would absolutely decimate lower tier tanks.

@@ImRandomDude you might be surprised how many players really do not think of this, they just complain they can't pen the front of heavily armoured tanks like the AT8. and then when you flank and call them out they just call you a yolo player.

Considering how it is bigger than the Tower of London, I'm not surprised it is hard to hide between shots.

I disagree. Since the HE nerf, the howitzer is somewhat useless, while the 10cm gun has very good pen and damage. Even when you are not top tier, you can still do severe damage

Yeah but it has twice the armor. Tbh, if there was a premium O-I like my KV-2 R, I’d buy for $50. It’s that good.

I played the O-I long time with the 15cm, after the HE changes I quickly changes back to the 10cm, which is the all round better gun imho, the main selling point of the O-I is the armor and that is useless again higher tiers anyway.

@@et3865 lef will always be broken of course. The m44 is not balanced. It is literally the best arty tier for tier in the game outside of the lef. The thing is ridiculous.

it sure is the most fun tank to play. AT8 is too slow and boring, but i sealclub when i gotta sealclub.

Agreed, the Jackson is great with troll hull armor and nice gun. When I started playing wot I favored tds, but as I have gotten better I realized mediums and heavies are more fun to play at higher tiers.

jackson was my first tier 6. the thing is basically a medium with a heavy tank gun and a slow turret. i love it tbh

Not true. At low tiers the damage might be higher but the lack of splash damage and ability of most tanks to move when they hear you fire makes for very poor battles. Leafblower has been nerfed worst, because it has zero splash and when tanks can hear you fire, they move before your shell ever arrives. Only idiots who don't pay attention get smacked by arty these days.

@@TehButterflyEffect Not really, if you've played night sessions recently with t5 heavies you should know very well what I'm talking about, 2 leaf blowers and one other t5 arty, open or semi open map and it's pretty much direct gg. Also leaf blowers are still the most op arties tier for tier imo, even without splash, cause arties are a bit more accurate now and you have very fast reload on the leaf blower plus amazing view range to also defend yourself if needed. Only idiots fail to see this these days
