I used to play Diablo 2 20 years ago and had a wind Druid and bone necro, my 2 favorite builds. We used to do 4v4 matches with teams of Druid Barbarian Necro and Assassin.

Hi first of all. I have to saw u are totally my nr 1 fav of D2 guides and videos. Sure there is Lama, And Debrunski, but i feel there are more like gurus for single player, or meta focussed. And for a old d2 veteran who pursome to be a guru in my guild and be one of the guys who knows most about d2 in my network. I apreciate you of all the youtubers the most, because you are the more real guy with the apreciation of the game, pvp, marketing that i can better rely or comparare to my needs. I mean if u make a video of, and ur not afraid, nonmeta, which can both result in alot of comments aND DICUSSION, and u have to really be more prepared and have d2 basic knowgle, or reference and testing with real pro gamers, dare more to take the chance to go to the next lvl, and talk about the ultimate builds, stats, gear and the real BIS gear and marked, especially for pvp. which by my standards, is one of the endgame goals and another world and community for most. U have added alternative builds or strategies, far from meta. Sharing some small tips and knowlge for even the biggest veteran player, who though he knew everything, and not getting anything new from any meta d2 streamer. And can therefore relate. Tho I have one question who have been buggin med for weeks. In many of ur videos, when u speedfarm/tele to a sertain distination, i notice u verry often pull up the skill tap screen. And Its be bugging me, that I want to know why, whats the reason for this. Is this because u will tele the max distance, like with controller, and and effect for not having high mouse sensivity, to easily max out tele distance. Is it something wierd personal, wihout any reason. Or is it something else Even i never knew about.. Pls tell and explain ur habbit about opening skilltap when you tele. cause thats a trick i never knew about.

My personal favs have always been BvCs and 95 ES Blizz/FB sosos.I know it's crappy in d2r due to ww bug but still it doesn't stop people like DHA to rock blood moor with spin to win baba. Good list dude 👍🏻

with shared stash allowing for a lot of resistance stack gear, I think vs any well prepared opponent all the pierce builds fall down one tier. blizzard, auradin, foh, poison nec, all have problems once the majority of their pierce has been negated. gm rules help blizzard prevent this by say "hey don't do that" but every prepared player is gonna be packing resists to the gm cap with shared stash now.

Awesome video! Which build would you recommend for new players that are inexperienced and can't afford top tier gear? I have only played PvP a few weeks in D2 lod over the years (bs nec and wind druid). I would like to build a bowazon or maybe a trapsin next in D2:R but maybe they will be too hard/expensive?

Coooley I was playing your immortal sorc setup in a pub duel game, it wrecks just now with the broken firewall! You should defo go back to it and give it a try in d2r.

Lots of desynch fixes and the firewall fix were just released. Might change some of those Pala/Sorc tiers.

Pretty well done. Barb for me is definitely S tier as it's my main PvP char and I clap all builds. The only one I may struggle with are sins.

I NEED to know which helm Guts is using in the beginning of the game. Are we talking Giant Skull, Delirium Bone Visage or some rare helm with visio mod? What's viable for a WW barb in PvP aside from a circlet or Arreats?

Hey. I'm not sure if you made a tier list for LLD. But it would be interesting to see your list. When I used to play on West Ladder, I built a lvl 30 fissure druid with garbage ass gear that owned a lot of barbs, necros, sorcs, chargers, hdins, and etc. even though they had a lot of godly gear. If fissure is on a low tier, I wouldn't be surprised. I guess that just means that brains beats brawns for this build lol since my play style works =P.

Nice list Papa Cools! I agree (mostly) though I'd move everything down a peg to differentiate between sin being more disgusting than the rest. S tier -- Sin A tier -- Necro, Smiter, Druid, WW Barb B tier -- Hammerdin, Zon (only here because it beats sin, I'd say low B), Blizzer, Poison Necro, FBaller C tier -- Charger, Orber, Firewaller, Bolt/Nova D tier -- pure melee builds (frenzy, zeal, werewolf/bear) GG awesome video

No body plays as hybid poisonzon (plague javelin) in D2R? I remember this one of the best builds for amazon vs melee characters.

I used to main a shockadin charger in LoD, that was how it was played, you would try to charge in/out and some would use Zeal, I never wasted time on Zeal because it's easily countered.

Surprised to see bowzon in A tier. Haven't played one in D2R yet but I thought since they removed the weapon switch glitch they would be pretty low

summoners not allowed in pvp? or not effective? I gotta think telestomping with 30 minions is pretty effective. Works great in pvm. I've never really got into the pvp scene though, just wondering why it wasnt on this list.

I just dont even know what I am looking at when I try to watch videos about the pvp, I have never played D2 before but I love pvp and character building so I was interested in getting into D2:R but whenever I watch it just seems to be a guy casting a spell over and over and over and teleporting around the map on 0 sec cooldown...is there any room for melee?

Ah man, bringing back memories of hardcore ladder from 2003. Those assassins joining your game and immediately going hostile. Some had assassins at level 10, 20, 30 etc, so they could manage to get in and kill everyone. Also can confirm zeal paladin as tier D. That was my guy.

as a barbarian main i have an entire cold resist/absorb setup for act V. the slow attack animation absolutely triggers me.

Pure holy fire/widow maker auradin is devastating. I would say it’s one of the best pvper, 1 hit charge with 3k guided arrow or huge holy fire dmg if they don’t absorb

May I have a build for pvp trapsin ? I’m worry about those paladins use guardian angel and 20% light absorb

is zeal pally that much worse than smite pally? I imagine he hits much faster and harder and can kill some casters quicker. Also, he could use his albeit lower smite to do the same thing a smiter does, since most of the damage comes from grief, anyway. Or am I wrong here?

Is Diablo 2 PvP even good? Back in the day, in .09... both east and west had dueling "leagues", Gimmeitam and PvPeast... is there anything like this going on in current D2? Or is it more like... "become a smiter and just own all physical"... is anyone doing any sort of regulating to make PvP fair? Thanks.

Where is the rabies or fire claw druids? The bear sorc, the immortal sorc etc you are missing some fun builds like the enchant sorc using demon machine.

If using KB on the build, fx on groves. I Def would consider A bowzon top tier, tho without KB it prolly A or Even as low as B. Imo

Any reason you didn't choose to include Fissure Druids? They're incredibly rare, but insane fissure builds are easily one of the most broken builds in D2 history :)

In my opinion blizzard and fireball sorc are max c tier. It’s slow and really easy to evade. I would put poison necro s or a tier as it destroys everyone with the fire golem, huge minus resist on gear and lower resist. It can’t be sorbed.

I hope they add mermans sprockets to help counter hdins

agree with 90% of the list. i wud swap trapsin and ghost tho. Ghost has more ways to do dmg and is more versatile imo. Nice video tho :)

just build my ww barb yesterday - Enigma AP Grief Zerker Beast Zerker Highlords Gores 2x hoto on switch for BO/teleport IAS 1x raven 1x dual leech AR/life/all res GG rare ring dracs dungos arereats/gface stormshield for melee duels Inventory full of 100 poison / 3frw charms / 177 poison /290 poison charms/ 3max/ar/life charms he's an absolute U N I T. abandoned my 105 fcr 400 mf cold sorc the MOMENT i was able to for a hammerdin. My hdin does: 14k hammers, FCR capped, and resist capped CURSED in hell also. Hammerdin farms players: 8 chaos like its den of evil on norm. WW barb S C H L A P S in pvp
