The way my jaw DROPPED when I dont dance wasn’t god tier. Even if it’s objectively not as good with only the audio/separate from the movie scene the pure adrenaline I get from it makes up for it

I've personally always liked When There Was Me and You because I'm a sucker for slower, sad love ballads but I totally get if people find it boring. My biggest disagreement is the placement of Stick to the Status Quo because that song is simply a certified banger.

High school music 1 & 2 were my everything. I was known in school as the HSM girl lol. I didn't watch HSM 3 until a few years later because it came out in october 2008 and my dad died september 2008, so i wasnt too interested in going to the movies haha. but it is, to me, 100% the best one. "Right here, right now" and "can i have this dance?" are both being played at my wedding in January

I am one of those people who adored “when there was me and you” so i guess, i’ve lost my taste. Jokes aside, we have different opinions. Before i didn’t care about the song, well because i was young. I rewatched HSM1 recently, and when i heard the song again after a very long time, I really adored the song, because as an adult, i finally understood the lyrics, and it hit me hard, really hard, because i went through a situation like it, plus the way the song plays and vanessa hudgens voice was pleasing to the ears. I even got emotional and almost teared up when gabriella and troy stopped talking to each other in the movie. So i guess, not an entertaining song, but a relatable, emotional and hard hitting song for me.

I actually managed to dance “Can I have this Dance” with my crush at our prom , it’s simply a magical song. Unfortunately, we didn’t kiss as Troy and Gabriella did at Stamford 😐, but I’m still glad that that song made it to the God tier.

The fact that my high school years were totally synced with the movies is what made the franchise so special and relatable to me, I mean, when I was at the movies in the premiere of hms: senior year it really was my senior year! And that whole vibe at the end with the cast singing high school musical really made me feel like closing a chapter of my life along with that amazing trilogy. Absolutely a god tier moment! High School Musical trilogy is hella underated. You definitely have the best tier list for the songs. The only thing I disagree with is the 2nd parts of "Can I have this dance" and "right here, right now", I think they're better than the first parts because the meaning of it hits harder the 2nd time around

High School Musical is my childhood 🐾❤️🎤🏀 I still remember watching the third movie in 2008 so I was 8 years old then, and my mom yelled “Go Troy” in the movie theatres😁 I am surprised you put “The Boys are Back” in the no callback it deserves “Star Dazzle Award” 🌟

Hahaha I laughed so hard when you said „it almost made me forget that Americans end their school year in the middle of the year” because it’s not only Americans. I think it’s much more common that it ends in the summer tbh (at least here in Europe & obviously the US) Also as a singer I can say that When there was me and you slapped!! It was my FAVOURITE growing up because it was so heartbreaking and I belted it out in my bedroom every day at seven years old

I watched HSM3 in theaters and it was SO FUN. I was 16 and the theater had only girls. Some people even dressed up in HSM cheerleading outfits and cheered before!! That opening shot of Zac sweating in the game had all of us SCREAMING. Hahah it was a moment. Also, when the “We’re all in this together” reprise went on, everyone was crying!!!

Okay I looooved this video and it got me so pumped to rewatch all three movies!! but omg I can't believe that the boys are back didn't get a call back?? I loved it so much, me and my best friend in like first grade performed a whole dance routine to it in the school's talent show :)) Also I don't dance is god tier to me, 10/10 would listen to it on my daily walks.
