Belladonna is so good and definitely reads as an older YA!! Throne of glass gets really good, by heir of fire I was obsessed.

Please push through throne of Glass because after book 1 it becomes unputdownable😂😂. The series is amazing

Omg u need to get thru throne of glass. Book three is when the actual hero shows up. And it’s like u have to read the first court of thorns and roses spread across two books before it really picks up. U would be OBSESSED IF U FINISHED IT! Don’t even read book one again. Refresh plow thru book two just to get to heir of fire. 🔥 that series is a sleeper. It finishes so damn strong. 💪

ToG is my favvvv of sjm's series, from queen of shadows onwards the series really picks up and it's such an emotional, wild ride! i NEVER look up spoilers for books but I was so invested in some of the characters that I had to google whether they survived otherwise haha!

I wouldnt say Daughter of No Worlds is less romance, it is slower paced and a different type of romance, slow building. But still definitely plenty of romance.

I loved A Touch of Darkness (I don’t know much about H&P so I didn’t go into it with that mindset) and King of Battle and Blood! Can’t wait for more books in the series. A Ruin of Roses, I loved too! Love love the series. I would put that on Obsessed for me. lol House of Earth and Blood loved. I’m struggling through the second one though. 😩 ACOTAR - love the series. Although, ACOSF is my fave in the series. Still want to read Shatter Me, loved The Cruel Prince and the first three in the From Blood and Ash series. I might continue but not sure. Altho I’ve been spoiled for four and that’s what made me not read it but I think we all knew it was heading in that direction. lol I might give Serpent & Dove a try. Do I need to read Caraval to read the Broken Heart book cause I’m more interested in that than I am Caraval? Daughter of No Worlds, I want to read. Loved The Serpent and Wings of Night. Struggling through book 2. But could be more of a slight slump in in. I do want to read Fourth Wing. I was going to read Rhapsodic but something turned me off in the beginning so I stopped. Loved the Throne of Glass series - well the first five books. lol Not sure if I’ll ever finish.

I'm currently reading The Ashes and the Star-Cursed King, I had already read The Serpent and the Wings of Night which I enjoyed but, The book I freaking loved was the novella of the series which is 6 scorched roses, I can't recommend this novella enough, which some readers say to read this novella right after The serpent. Actually, I read the novella first, it was easier to be acquainted with the world of Nyaxia and I had an easier time to understand the plot and the world building because I read the novella first. I did purchased Belladonna which I will read next.

The second book from blood and ash bored me it was 600 pages of nothing but I loved the first one it had so much potential just my opinion I got through book 2 by listening to the audio lol may listen to the third in future not read

Hey Jess brand new enemies to lovers fantasy Romance try Dawn of the Onyx

I tried to read Daughter of no Worlds but was really underwhelmed. The writing felt very juvenile to me - the protagonist believing a powerful institution would send a delegation to rescue her friends when she was an absolute stranger to them (with no power at all). They gave her too much time and asked for her opinion and I was like - no way would they behave this way... I had to DNF eventually. I gave the "throne of glass" series a decent shot but again, I think SJM grew a lot as an author since then, and after the fifth book I just couldn't bring myself to care. I do plan to read "Crescent City" at some point.
