First off, Tiffany, if the board wasn't a weak one in the first place, you wouldn't be in that seat. You don't have the political army nor the financial resources to be elected as Supervisor. But you took advantage of a weak board that was put together by your predecessor to get appointed. Lastly, you're not going to win that seat. What most people will not tell you is that the salary isn't really important for the kinds of people that will be her opponent. Yes, if you need a paycheck, it can harm you but to the people that's going to be running for it, they have money coming from their businesses and other offices they occupy. So the salary cut only (her successor will receive)made her look stupid and self-serving. All of this anger and tension happening months before her election is bad bad bad

This is a reply I placed on another pg - related to why Governor Pritzker can’t step in - I am going to cut & paste this everywhere… Idk - the news reported (think it was NBC), that he felt there were enough resources outside of his office allocated to her & he would offer support, but mentioned nothing about at minimum, relieving her of her duties. I supposed if no one has asked him to do that, he’s going to let the investigations continue & allow her to keep office, but she is soooooo unqualified it is just unreal….may be both Dolton & Thornton Township need to specifically document and request this - it’s possible that their complaints/requests have been specific to the corruption, money, etc., but not specifically related to her “ability to comprehend nor her blatant mistreatment of her staff publicly”…..this should not be tolerated whatsoever…for God’s Sake - her disrespectful attitude & belligerent behavior is plastered all over the news…nationally & the internet…internationally…what kind of message does this send. I blame the Governor in part for not stepping in & providing some type of resolution. If the Governor in Georgia can tk a mayor out f being incompetent, so can ours!! My apologies, I am very passionate about getting her out of office & I live in a neighboring township, but it’s so disgraceful, I am embarrassed for my neighbors.
