Teacher, a question why do I feel when i'm hitting the tiger style, my beating is not as strong as a normal box? What should I do so that my fingers are strong and not hurt during beatings? 2 things you need careful. 1. Hitting angle / your hands angle is very important when hit , try either flat or diagonal . And tight your wrist . 2 , training your tiger hands strong. With instructions.

A good way to tell most of the time is "Northern Legs, Southern hands". Northern utilizing legs for high/ aerial kicks. Southern utilizing low strong stances for a lot of hand work. If you get confused just remember this- the opposite of North would be down(so legs), and the opposite of South would be up (so hands). It's an opposite correspondence. Not a hard and fast but generally it's right.
