The way this works is shark sees you and doesn't know what you are so it takes a look if it is food shaped and runs it eats if it's food shaped but fights back it don't eat and if it's weird looking (like us) and it docent know what to do so you not runing means your probably going to fight back if it attacks you

@@planecrazyiscrazy not true. First a shark identifies you way before he sees you by your electric field. Tigers are also opportunistic carnivores which means they have the decision making ability to hunt anything if they are hungry. You are not their genetic imprinted food but that only means you are not preferred. A hungry tiger is still extremely dangerous in possible attacking you and for that it doesn't matter if you try to swim away. The problem is you only realize that it hunts you when the shark attacks. and then there are zero tricks like pushing him etc.

@@MEM_8008 "sharks are docile by nature" is a bit of an exaggeration. White sharks are really aggressive towards humans. Bull sharks are aggressive too. Tiger sharks are a bit unpredictable, sometimes they think you're prey, sometimes they ignore you. Blue sharks are docile and mostly just attack humans when threatened or if mistaking us for a seal or something like that... etc. Sharks can be docile to humans, but saying that an animal whose survival is very much due to their aggressiveness is "docile by nature" is a bit of stretch. That they are more docile than movies give them credit for, sure, I agree.

They don’t hunt humans, they will however attack anything they see as prey *_if their predatory response is triggered_* so the goal is to reduce the chances of that frenzie response being triggered in the shark. Swimming away and splashing WILL activate it, meaning regardless of whether the shark is hungry or not you’re gonna get cooked. Mansplain to the marine biologist about sharks bro. You definitely know something they don’t. lol.

Sharks don't like eating humans we're gross, its why every shark attack is a "test bite" so making it clear you aren't a fish or otter is better than running because no normal animal is going to touch a shark except animals that it doesn't see as prey

Sharks aren't really agressive towards humans. You have higher chances of getting killed by a random dog when you're on land than by a shark when you're in the ocean.

@@therealest5695if that was a shark y’all claim got him, would have been a lot of blood. Never heard of a shark attacking a live human with no blood. He wasn’t attacked by a shark, he made a dumb mistake that we’ve all made in our younger days especially with alcohol and jumped off a boat in the pitch dark and drowned. It’s sad, he had a bright future ahead of him, and he’s declared dead at sea.
