We removed and replaced the king Pins on truck 15. The 20,000 lbs. liftable steer axle has been stiff for some time and need to have King Pins replaced. We used the Tiger Tool King pin press part number 90150 to remove the Pins.

Nice to see another farmer who's not afraid to spend the money to buy tools to do the job safely quick and properly. You didn't damage the parts but you need to reuse and you certainly didn't jeopardize any fingers or toes. Good job.

Thanks Andy for the great videos, my sister and family operate her husbands 3rd generation dairy farm, along with their 3 children (4th generation) all in their 20's here in Central Maine. They milk a heard of 600 Holsteins and Jerseys three times a day. I know how tough the business is, keep on pushing. Tell Nate to take it easy on the partying; even if you think he will not listen, it will matter to him down the road someday, he looks up to you and you have to mentor the young "fellas", boy do I remember those days, most great memories!

Should replace the two shocks with the springs that hold the wheels straight. Had to do it all the time on the 6 and 7 axle dumps. Love the tiger tool it worth the money the threads will strip out after about 12 king pins or more but well worth the headache. Love the videos you showing what goes into keep things running around there not everyone can take things to the repair shop if you want to make a living.

Every spindle should have the Kaiser spiral bushings. They allow grease to get into the bushings better. Anything else and you almost have to grease them daily or they stop taking grease.

Why use a cordless impact, when you have access to an air impact hammer? Wouldn't that be better, and maybe the air would drive the plug where it impacts the king pin? Just curious. Thanks
