PhlyDaily that front armor was not spaced on the Jumbo. The hulls were standard M4A3 W hulls with extra armor welded onto the fronts and sides. The final drive cover/transmission was different and much thicker than the standard M4A3 W. The turret was it's own casting that no other Sherman used.

phly you're sooo good. Whenever I try what you do... I get one shotted.

Phly, the reason you can fire well on the move is because a lot of the US tanks got Gyro-stabilizers put on them in the last update. All the shermans have it, and a few light tanks as well, eg. M24 Chaffee. Keeps the gun almost perfectly steady, so long as you don't go to crazy. To fast and the uneven terrain will toss the tank around more than the stab. can compensate for, and even slow, to sudden a movement will mess up the aim, eg. hard track brake turning, or sudden defalade.

The jumbo's define perfectly what a tank should all be like. *Hold the line, killstreak count high, bounce dem shots!*

there is a week spot on the jumbo if it angles, the armor behind the tracks is very thin so you can sometimes go though the tracks and the side armor and one shot it depending on rng or you can shoot above the track and go though it every time but it is kinda a hard shot. its really useful especially agents the 4.7 version since almost nothing can pen it's front at that br.

The jumbo is such an undertiered tank... Should be at least 5.0

You're the player that makes me not want to play Warthunder. It's like no matter where you aim if you shoot a tank once it explodes. Whereas whenever I play it's pointless to even pull the trigger.

Now take out the 4.7 British heavy! The Churchill mk. 7 with the splendid Fairy Firefly mk. V If you get downtiered expect double aces, but when uptiered, your 75mm will do nothing against thick German engineering. Good luck!

the weakness of the Jumbo is the side armor near the tracks... its easy to pen and has a high 1 shot potential, because the ammo is there too

M18 PLEASE!!! haven't seen it in a year and I just unlocked it but I don't know how to use it. shot a Kv2 in the side turret (with stock ammo) fucked his crew and he still was able to turn his turret and kill me yes I should have reversed but I didn't thing he could shoot with his gunner commander and loader dead!!

Angled jumbos are so easy to kill as long as you can see the front of the track, shoot right there and you'll pen the track plus lower side armour, bypassing the transmission and getting a one shot. You're welcome.

shoot for the gunner port on the front of the tanl and you can pen them any angle with 85 or 88 or even german 75 and it will always be a 1shot if explosive rounds

I've grown to start hating war thunder, I don't know what happened, used to love it but now I can't get through a game without being one shotted in my first tank and have no points to respawn. I angle and everything but nothing helps.

late war Shermans such as the one you're driving in this video had the hvss or "high volute spring suspension which made firing on the move more stable. just a fun fact in response to earlier in the video when you said you noticed it was easier to fire on the move.

PhlyDaily you do know that the lower side plat fo the jumbo even if you angle at all that it that it will be pentated like butter, i have killed and been killed by KV-1 ziz 5 and T-34 that just baraly move to the side of the tank(still about 100mm of efective thickness) and still penitrate it like butter.

I have been one shot while using the Jumbo multiple times by 75mm most of the distance is over 200m. The thing is they always shot in the upsidedown V. Not the weak points. Although I have taken a point blank 88 shell straight on and it bounced.

I usually see these things close up so I can usually easily pop em in the machine gun for a one shot.
