Hi Awesome people.
in this video I have done detailed analysis on the Tata tigor EV which was launched yesterday I feel that the price is a little bit on the higher side and it will not attract mass buyers.
As the starting price is 1199000
the on road price will be 12.60 lacs.

I think price of top model is 13 Lacs without subsidy is ok. 306 km claim range. Real life may get 220-260 km depending on driving pattern. Please do not compare other ICE cars with EV. Now is MG ZS EV with 21 Lacs base variant is overpriced? If not then why Tigor EV is overpriced? After subsidy the again reduced. Another think is that Tata does not supply Maruti like "Tin Ka dabba". Tigor EV got 4 star Global NCAP Crash Test. Maruti Swift got 0 star in Latin NCAP and they said that is also applicable 0 star in Maruti Dzire.But still we buy cheap "Tin Ka Dabba" of Maruti Japanese Suzuki. Wake up Indians. Vocal for Local. If you like sedan buy Tigor EV . If you love SUV by Nexon EV. Very simple.

nice analysis bro.. really good you have more knowledge then me.. :) but you know india here no one(most population) even cares about ncap ratings and safe cars.. even though tigor ev and mexon ev are really good cars with complete pakcage.. they dont sell well.. definitely price is a consideration that what i mentioned that if tigor ev should have been a little less expensive people would have started considering it and thats when the change might happen that tata cars are outselling maruti and other outside brands.. anyways lets see.. thank you so much sharing ur thoughts . :)

@@Automobilesofftime Agree sir, but I think at this moment price within 10 lacs is not possible if we maintain quality. Because still battery cost is high. I shall be more happy if it comes from 10-12 lacs. But that come 13 lacs. Its ok. We are actually expect unrealistically. That is our prob.

Honestly speaking, this car is not that worth to be paid for 12lk. It is good for 9lk and max 11lk considering battery charges. 14k is per kw (Fame 2 subsidy not covered cost 3lk for 26kw battery and after subsidy fame 2, will be still less), I am not sure the quality is really that amazing by Tata. But Tata charging double price, and looting customer in the name of LocalForVocal. I have taken test drive Amaze, Seltos (not value of money). Most say, this is good pricing, etc. But they never buy and make others to buy these products paying high. It is not value of money by Tata. First product, SUV for city range. Why would someone do that? If city range, then go for Tiago, that would help more long range. I would say, if someone saying Tata is best and should buy, ask them to buy this product by paying high price, so tomorrow you get value of money.
