That was six months ago and I still have red bump and lumps on my skin. I don't know how to treat it. I tried niacinamide and it helped a bit but it still comes back. I found Elizabeth arden eight hour cream and it helped too but still I have these red spots. I would really love and appreciate some guidance on this please. Many many thanks

The Ordinary peel packaging literally says to not use it on broken skin (aka, not on fucken microneedled skin), secondly, the package also literally says to not use it longer than 10 MINUTES. People can't even read the instructions of the bottle, I really can't. EDIT: So apparantly that tik tok with the Ordinary peel was staged. His next tik tok videos showed him with perfectly fine skin. He apparently claimed he, "got rid of," all that damage by putting vaseline on his face for 2 hours 🙄 definitely knew it was bs after that. Tik tok creators will do literally anything for views and shock factor. It worked tho lol.

@@aishrahman6941 you REALLY have to start slow with it. Like before u even use it u gotta make sure your skin isnt broken in anyway, and that means even if youve got some dry peely patches on your cheeks or anything at all that counts as broken. So it will sting alot more than normal. U gotta be very gentle with your skin for about a week before u use it and during that week u definitely shouldnt do any kind of physical exfoliation or use any cleansers that exfoliate, then after your positive ur skin is calm and not broken at all and has no dry patches then just use a tiny bit and it wil sting at first but as long as ur skin isnt broken at all the stinging goes away very fast and u can easily rub it all over your face. The first few times its better to leave it on only 5 minutes so ur skin gets use to it ( and u should be able to leave it on comfortably for those 5 minutes with no stinging, and ur skin should not be red or irritated after washing it off. ) then after like two weeks use it up to 10 mins if u want. I use it 2 times a week and its wonderful and makes my skin soooo smooth and soft and my skin looks so good and even-toned because of it

@@Brit.knee. Thank you so much for a very through instructions which ordinary should have included in their packaging to start with . I started using retinoid a few days a week prior to that , and although I made sure I don’t use retinoid on the day that I use the peel ,my skin could have been very sensitive prior to that. I’m convinced now and I’ll give the peel another chance, but will have to leave the retinoid in the week I use the peel. 💞
@Brit.knee.
@Brit.knee. 3 жыл бұрын
@@aishrahman6941 yeah dont use the retinoid on the same day as u use the peel. Since the retinol can dry u out( causing broken skin) and yeah then it will be shitty. But this is only to start out with, like ome ur skin gets used to using the peel. U can absolutely put ur retinol on thr same day BUT hours later at night before u go to bed( thats actually when u are supposed to use it) so give ur face a week of mild cleansing and mild basic non scented moisturizer, it is ok to use tiny amounts of serum in ur night time routine also if that is what u have been using and ur skin is totally used to it ( and im talking about like a few drops of hyluronic acid and niacinamide after ur cleanse and followed up with basic gentle moisturizer always) after the week u should be good to go on the peel. And u will know most likely if ur skin is broken at all so yeah just keep an eye on that & Keep ur skin very moisturized and u really probably wont need to worry much about broken skin ( if u have a blemish its ok just dont mess with it and put the peel AROUND the blemish not on it NOT touching it.) Oh and one last thing about the retinol, put a nice layer of moisturizer on your face before the retinol. Put the retinol over it just a pea size amount and if u want u can put some more moisturizer over the top of the retinol if you want just to ensure that the retinol does not dry you out. But yeah just remeber never put retinol on your bare face.

You can actually keep it on your face for 1 hour and it be completely fine but the people that are able to do that their skin is more resistant to it because of all the things they’ve done to the skin, like chemicals peels for example. Also people that leave it on the skin for an hour and it be completely fine are experienced with skincare and know what they are doing:)

Janell Jacques I would def recommend SPF 30 for your face as well, most people(not assuming you don’t) do not apply the correct amount to even get the benefit of their SPF number they’re using. Also the suns rays are usually stronger during the summer true, but the sun is out and shining well, every single day! I would always wear an SPF even on cloudy days, yes you won’t get burned but the damage from the sun builds up over the years.

the thing that angers me most about the ordinary peeling liquid kid is that he didn't remove the video after getting that reaction. He instead is keeping those views and just hoping that people go and watch the following video which most don't do. It could also be that he didn't leave it on for an hour and simply used that for shock value seeing as we can't clearly see the damage supposedly done in the second video. but leaving it up for more views is irresponsible since, again, so many young kids will go and follow suit

I think a lot of damage was done. You can literally hear him cry plus you can see the redness in spite of the mask. Do you dermaroll everyday? If you do stop. Don't apply cream products, use light serums or nothing at all at least for the day. You skin is in truth has been damaged so now it needs to repair itself. That's where the results come from. Its renewing the skin cells and producing collegen. If your skin is still breaking out or not healing the way you hope ( I can't make an assumption since I can't see what you skin is doing) go to an estheticen for a analysis (the good ones will always look and ask about your skin and your skin routine) and they may be able to suggest products that are specific to your skins dermarolling needs. I wish I can help you more but I can't do much without seeing your skin up close. If someone like me followed that tik tok I would probably have to be hospitalized for 2nd degree burns! And yes, I know that sounds dramatic but I'm very serious, just forgetting to re-up on my sunblock when I'm outdoors will result in a week of full body pain and horrible peeling and about 100 more freckles on my body! Omg derma roller and the Ordinary 30% chemical peel, I almost stopped watching the video. My heart is breaking. I have used that 30% before and while it didn't damage my skin (so lucky for a black woman) it tingles and burns a bit. Imagine that getting it your pores. He rubs it in and says he is leaving it ok for an hour. Omg

Hi there. Can I ask why you say "so lucky for a black woman"? Is this product harmful to darker skin tones? I didn't think it would be as I thought skin is skin irrespective of the colour of it. Just wondering that's all and keen to educate myself. I've just given a bottle of this to a friend who has quite dark skin and would hate to think that I've given her something that could damage her. Thanks in advance. Oh my heart went out to him too. Poor lad must have been in agony. My daughter follows him on tiktok and said he had to bandage his face after.

Different skin types require different treatments. Dermarolling is a great treatment, but only in the hands of those who know how to do it properly. Its worth the money to go to a pro.

I get your point of confusion..however a clarisonic is manual exfoliation which can be harsh and damaging to the skin bc the way it tears at the skin. Dermarolling, aka microneedling, aka CIT therapy when done safely with proper technique introduces safe controlled pin point damage that promotes increase of healthy collagen and elastin. Lots of derms on youtube teach about this.

I love how you explained the derma roller. Its such a highly effective but highly risky tool. I did extreme amounts of research before getting into it, including watching why dermatologists didnt recommend it (always came down to misuse concerns) It scares me now quick people jump on these professional tools without any serious research. I guess I tend to always air on the side of caution no matter how harmless because history has shown not only the science changes but sometimes conpanies and influencers will lie for profit.
