@@rebeccadelarge3993 another thing I’ve realized is that you are usually just better off not even buying store bought sauce at all, and instead get a can of whole peeled San Marsano tomatoes. It takes longer to cook the sauce then the pre made stuff but is worth it. It’s like 5 bucks for that can so the price difference isn’t big. All it really needs is salt and pepper and a small pinch of sugar if needed. This is what Italian restaurants do so you’ll notice a huge level up in quality and taste. And at the expense of only an extra couple dollars and couple of hours. I make this every couple of weeks because my family loves it so much lol.

And basil! Pesto basil takes any spaghetti , lasagna up a few notches!! Trust me 😉

I do my thing in the kitchen but as a Mother, GF, employee of a full time job, with a couple side hustles everyday won’t be a “from scratch” day and everything still taste 🔥🔥🔥 (to us) tastebuds and pallets are different. Like I don’t like eggs, Chinese food, etc etc etc but the guys in my household love them. Everyone is different and that’s ok 🙂
