I just thought of something, at the beginning of the game you could have made a bronze crossbow once you got to the shantay pass shop to use all those crossbow bolts. Killing a cow would have got you raw beef that you could have made into a sinew that could have been a crossbow string, the bronze bars could have made the limbs, and the stock you could have fletched yourself with logs.. so.. ouch..

@@robodude5124 I personally gave it a go for a couple weeks, because it's my type of game. I love near-infinite grinding with progress always shown. But by god, the inventory made me uninstall. 99% of items don't stack. You expect me to chop thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of trees to level? Sure. Gladly. Logs don't stack and there's no way to increase inventory size? Hell fuckin' no.

@@Zannypants666 Personally I never found having a limited inventory in a video game a problem (isn't inventory space limited in most games) there is also ways to "increase" inventory via different storage pouches & bags but of course you have the bank like... In terms of woodcutting specifically you either woodcut and shift click spam drop ur whole inventory or if you're like an ironman who wants to keep it or if you're a normal account and the logs are valuable then you woodcut near to a bank, there's lots of places to do so, and it would be quick.

I've never played OSRS. I've never even seen any content from you - Josh Strife Hayes just said as an offhand comment that he likes your videos. This showed up in my feed and I clicked because I didn't have anything to watch. I have never been more excited to see someone else get the drop they needed, or be as devastated experiencing someone else's lows. I didn't understand most of the things you were doing but they were riveting to watch and learn from them. The stories you were able to craft, experience and tell through the entire series was incredible. I may never be able to tolerate OSRS considering the grind (maybe next league?) but I am glad you took me on this ride, through thick and thing. McTile will forever live in all of our hearts. Thank you.

You are perfectly capable of starting with a f2p account, use the methods of money making available with a f2p to make enough to then buy a bond, and then you can make tons more using members only methods. Sure, it takes more time and effort, but you are fully capable of playing the game without ever spending a single cent of real money. That's literally the point of the bonds system.

Finally! I can rewatch the series for a third time now. After watching all of swampletics, one inventory, and now tileman, I want you to know that watching your videos finally convinced me to play osrs again and I am having an absolute blast. Can't wait to watch this while I run around draynor rooftops for the next 3 hours! EDIT: 8 and half hours later, I got to 50 agility from 20 and managed to get the chest and legs for the graceful set. Feels great!

This series randomly popped up on my TY feed a little over a year ago, at the time i had never played runescape but had watched friends play it. I decided to give it a try and turned out i feel in love with the game. Forward a year, i got my quest cape and im still enjoying playing every day. Thank you for reintroducing a game from my childhood and giving me a chance to get lost in Gielinor. Cheers to another wonderful series and enjoy some R&R, you deserve it.

I think that Settled and this series proves that anything can become entertaining, it only matters who you're with and their outlook. I have never before played OSRS, and I don't plan on playing it at any point in the future to be honest. But this series kept me enthralled for hours and hours on end. This is truly the first time I have not checked the remaining runtime on a possible ending to the video. I thought about it. I considered it. I wondered "Will he have to spend a month learning herblore to redo this run?". But I resisted the urge to check. I just wanted to find out, exactly when you did, whether the run was successful. And my heart broke. When he finally won, I popped off at home, in synch with the video. Settled, please continue to be an inspiration and driving force for so many out there, including myself. Much love to you, this series, and everything you've accomplished, ever.

You honestly did a fantastic job on this series. I've been watching it since you launched it. Watched all of Swampletics while waiting for the newest Tileman to come out. You kind of inspired my partner and I to start an ironman journey of our own, so I thank you for that. I think my favorite part is the conclusion to this series.. How you reacted when you got that final shot out on Zuk. I normally don't feel emotionally involved in YT series but seeing that cape on your avatars back legitimately made me happy. Then, to close it all out, you picked a fantastic song to couple with that ending animation. Not gonna lie; a legit tear came to my eye because I was both happy and sad. Happy because you achieved your goal but sad because all stories eventually come to an end. Bravo, Settled. Bravo. I look forward to where you go next!

I haven’t played in over a decade so it felt like I barely knew what was going on, but I stayed for your positive attitude and watching you level up (so efficiently) was a joy. I enjoyed the mini explanations along the way. Watching you get the rare drops and having the same excitement for even the most mundane parts of inventory juggling is wholesome

Just finished rewatching the whole series. Such a great set of vids man, OSRS has a special place in my heart after spending lots of time playing when i was growing up, I started playing a few months before RS1 turned into RS2. I dont have the time these days to get far without it taking an insanely long time so being able to watch you be sadomasochistic about playing made everything so much better. That first inferno run... my heart dropped and I actually teared up. Yeah its only 10 hours of time invested into watching at that point, but I really did feel the hurt, stress and sadness in your voice. But your a champ and pushed through like you always do. Congrats on such a successful series, cant wait to see what the future will hold for McTile. Ill miss glop

Don't know if this will be read but this series was just. Everything I needed when I watched it. I was home and lonely spending my first Christmas with my biological father since I was 2 years old and I was scared. But I was on a journey taking it one step at a time to get over my fears. I feel I went through a journey with this video as I watched parts of it every day to get through. The ending song choice was incredible and made me cry for the first time in months. As someone who has never watched Run Scape this was such a special video and I'm eternally grateful the algorithm gave me this. I cannot wait for what is next

I held off on commenting until I finished watching it, I've actually rewatched swampletics and tileman during my trailblazer reloaded grinds already, shooting for dragon as daunting as that task is, but that means that your videos have kept me going during almost 40 hours of grind alone, typing this while working on getting all of the herblore xp I can out of my bank, but you keep me going through a lot. Something about your videos inspires me in a way that not much else does, the determination and skill it takes to see these things through is something I understand because I play osrs, not much tbh, best achievement I have so far is 99 smithing in f2p, but I KNOW what some of this takes to do, and seeing you push through everything and come out the other side is always incredible. Can't wait to see what you do next.

What a ride. From that struggle in the beginning and lumbridge on those first couple tiles all the way to the infernal cape. This and swampletics have been truly amazing series and this is some of the best old school RuneScape content I've ever seen. The incredible amount of effort and dedication time that went into viewing these things is truly mind blowing. I could almost feel that same feeling all those years ago back when I started as a kid. This was amazing to watch and I'm glad that I got to take time to go on this adventure and watch this. Keep up the good work and thank you for everything you've done for this community.

I just binged this video over the last few days while training agility, and man. You're actually making a grown ass man tear up a little over this 20 year old low polygon game at the end. It's incredibly just how much emotion and heart you manage to show through these videos.

You might’ve unironically made my favorite KZfaq video of all time. And the Good Kid music at the end with the animation of the tiles filling out? Ugh so good. Absolutely incredible man. Holy shit dude what an amazing video. I played Runescape for maybe 30 mins waaaaaaaay back in like 2000 or so, and have not touched it since. However, the algorithm gods decided to lead me to your video. And, despite having pretty much zero interest in playing Runescape and only having a basic understanding of the game, I've sat here for almost 2 hours having a few beers and just becoming really engrossed in your video. Your comittment, energy, enthusiasm, enjoyment and ability to explain things just a little so that I could follow along has made this one of the best videos i've come accross in YEARS. Sadly, I have to go to sleep now, but damn am I looking forward to watching the remaining 9 hours or so in the coming days. Thanks a lot

I've rewatched this and swampletics several times now, I honestly don't get bored of them. It's nice for the background and interesting when you fully pay attention too. Even when I know what already happens, I can't help but feel excited when you get that drop you were farming for or finally hit that level goal. Thank you for making such wonderful series. Looking forward to the one HP challenge conclusion when it comes time for that, but these videos are great to fill in the time between new episodes!

Man, I've watched a lot of gaming content over the years but this was my first time following an entire adventure like this!! Great personality that allowed me to enjoy every step of the journey. I never reply, but i'm taking my time here to thank you for bringing alot of joy in my bussy life last week, bingewatched this and loved it! I can't have the time to play runescape and get addicted again, but this felt like playing back in the 2000's again! Also, the cinematic ending is awesome! Keep up the work!
