Wow!! Arrko country ma they make lake by making a huge dam so that they can collect water and make a artificial lake but hamro desh Nepal ma naturally lake is formed ani herda pani yeti ramro hunxa tara dukha ko kura Government never support and highlight our Natural formed Nature beauty and never focus in the advantage that we can get form it by International tourism market.. I am sorry to say one thing that it is a wrong information that Tilicho is having the highest altitude in the world. Please check the information carefully. Even the Gurudongmar lake(5182m) is at higher altitude than this lake. There are other lakes even at higher altitudes.

Tilicho Tal is nowhere the highest lake in Nepal, even less in the world. For example the glacial Imja Tse Tal sits at 5026 meters and the highest Gokyo lakes are at 5157 m. There are several lakes at over 6000 meters in Chile.
