Rick Jones no, it was cancelled because abc would have to start paying for it once a seventh season started. They were getting the show for free for six years since Fox was paying for it.

There was actually some balance on the show. There were moments where he maybe stepped to the left, to the left on a couple issues. I think that was the point of having him have 4 daughters. I didn't even think he was as bad as Archy.

Which family comedy is not political ? Name 1 & I will point out all the PC dialog & leftist ideology. In fact LMS was one of the few shows that don't constantly portray men as bumbling idiots (like Home improvement } who would be lost without a strong matriarch to keep them in line. Then you look at who the shows creator is & yep, some 3rd wave feminist who went to some lib arts school .

@@SuperBigblue19 a show is always going to be a little political but at least most of them try to be as neutral as possible. This show is just so in your face about it.. I mean I think it's great that there are shows for people that are right because most people who studie art are left so if they make a show they can't help that they make it from there point of view, but that also means that most shows are more left oriented. So I think it great there are shows from different political views but doing it so over the top is just tasteless and annoying. But that's just my opinion.
