I would just like to add, to anyone who bothers to read this, that he is 100% right. It is so very hard to let go of some people in your life, but a true friend is someone who cares about you not just in spite of your flaws, but BECAUSE of them. Being disliked really sucks, but I can say that being disliked for who you are is a thousandfold better than being liked for who you aren't. Be yourself, and the people who don't like that will leave and you will attract the people who DO like it.
