Mercy, I sure miss my Mama. Eighteen years this year since I heard her voice. What I wouldn't give for one of her hugs again. And my sweet mother in law, Mama Rosa. I miss our talks. She sure raised a good son. My husband and I were blessed with precious Mamas. Cherish yours!!

I heard this song on the radio this year on September 2nd on my way home from visiting my mom in a nursing home suffering from dementia. My mom passed away on September 28th. I called my mom and dad every day to every other day but never passed 3 days. I often thought I was nuts for calling my parents so much. I’m so grateful I did. I now call my dad every day sometimes 2x a day. My parents were married 60 years.

“I can always hear her smile when I call...” You went and did it again, Tim. I held my Mom’s hand as she passed with “Humble and Kind” playing in the background. Never take her for granted and the lessons she taught and instilled in you. She can’t ever be replaced, there’s no one better. Thanks, Momma. I’ll see you on the other side...

I watched this and I cried like a baby. This song hit me hard. I only wish I could call mom. I wish I could hear her voice of the words I Love you and give her a big hug and kiss but I can't. She passed away and I am missing her so much. Heaven has a new angel now. (my mom). 😇 She was my heart and soul and most of all my best friend. She was with me when she passed. It was the hardest thing having to let her go. Tim has a beautiful song with a powerful message. To all those that still have a Mom count your blessings and never miss a day without calling your mom and telling her you love her. Life is too short and not to be taken for granted. If only I could see and hear my moms voice again. My faith will get me through and knowing that I carry her in my thoughts, in my heart every minute of the day. God Bless all Mom's and God Bless everyone. Y'all stay safe. I'm a fan of Tim he's one of the best. ♡♥♡🙏🙏

I'm not a big country guy, from up north. My mom moved to Biloxi almost 2yrs ago. She likes to send videos every now and then, which could usually hold historical value to out family. I get the text while in public, and texted, "this isn't something by Clapton, Fleetwood, Petty (all of which I love) ect. Some of those songs still tear me up to this day (You Look Wonderful Tonight, Cocaine...this was the time period when Dad and much my uncles attempted on being louder then the other when Clapton said Cocaine). We never appreciate when it's released, like it is years down the line. Hell, I dont know whether my favorite album is the White Album or Dark Side of the Moon. In many ways, Im like my mom, one for me, is Im an emotion a person. Not sure but hearing this song for the first time, added to that list. I love you, I fucking miss you. I miss drinking beers on the front step, I miss everything with ALL the kids, You know what I mean when I say this, I'm gonna miss seeing the twins just as much, and last but not least, Mommom. With all my bullshit, they love me and want to see succeed, which I WILL! Hope you can send more. Once a week Maybe? Before you're have me soaked from emotion everynight , by sending stuff like Playin' With the Boys. Mom, this stuff ALWAYS means something to me, so much so that You Look Wonderful Tonight, was adopted by Becky and I. Thank you, so much, for all of this. Hey, maybe these songs are those "good vibes" you asked me sent down to me. He knows, and he's doing what you asked. Monday-this morning were really rough, today I feel like a new person, I'd say 65%,getting there, not 100% but these emotions are always the first to come back, just the way the brain works. Sorry for the discography, but although I dont show it best, it is, has, and will always be here. Mom, thank you! You did what was needed growing up, and thats a momma bear taking care of her cubs. Love ya, from Pumadin, to Mama Dukes.

We went to lunch over the phone.. she raised me. Over the phone. God I miss her. First time I heard this song I pulled over and just cried for my momma. Good job Tim. It's perfect.

My mom was indeed my everything. She always supported me in all my causes, my ups and when I was down. Seeing my mom and hearing her voice comforted me .Her hugs went straight to my sole. I heard the first 2 lines and i was deep in tears. It's been 15 years and i still pickup the phone to share what just happened. My mom was loved by so many of my friends. They would call her to get advice or just to listen. My ex and other ex's in the family still called her on her birthday and Mother's day. Beautiful song....I still miss strolling with her and talking with her. But I miss her most for my grandson not to have know his great grandma. Thanks Tim! Thank you mommy for loving me and helping me to be the best for my son, husband, grandsons, siblings, this world and for allowing me to be you and daddy's surprise when your thought your were finish. Yes #8 your favorite. I won't tell the others...always in my heart, my soul and all that I do...Never stopped loving or missing you💝💖💞❤💋💋💋

Damn, it's raining in my eyes, "again" 💖 "I Called Mama" [Verse 1] Got a call from a friend about a friend With some news no one ever wants to hear It hit me like a punch, it took my breath He was just gettin' into his best years Yeah, somethin' like that'll shake you up Wake you up [Chorus] So I stopped off at a Texaco, bought a Slim Jim and a coke Parked out by the water just to watch that river flow Grabbed my guitar from the back seat, wrote a song just for me And I sung it for the blue sky and a couple live oak trees I thought of home, grabbed my phone from my pocket And I called mama [Verse 2] It rang a couple times, and she picked up I can always hear her smile when I call I just called to tell you that I loved you I was missing you and dad and home, that's all I got to really thinking this morning About what's important [Chorus] So I stopped off at a Texaco, bought a Slim Jim and a coke Parked out by the water just to watch that river flow Grabbed my guitar from the back seat, wrote a song just for me And I sung it for the blue sky and a couple live oak trees I thought of home, grabbed my phone from my pocket And I called mama [Bridge] And from now on I ain't gonna wait so long [Chorus] To stop off at a Texaco, buy a Slim Jim and a coke Park out by the water just to watch that river flow Grab my guitar from the back seat, write a song just for me Sing it for the blue sky and a couple live oak trees I think of home, grab my phone from my pocket Instead of sayin' tomorrow, I'm gonna And I called mama And I called mama With Love To All, Stay Safe, and call MaMa, every chance ya get 💖🌹💖🌹💖🌹💖🌹

I was just sitting here thinking about how bad my life sucks with Covid19 and now 2 hurricanes coming towards my house and this song reminded me to be grateful for my family, for the things that really matter in life. I am blessed because I still have my mom and I have a beautiful healthy daughter. Call your mom if you can.

Wow Tim, you have done it again. Another big hit, another son to touch my heart and bring tears to my eyes. You have been one of my favorite country artist since I could remember. I was a little girl sitting in the garage with my dad watching him fix up old cars and asking him every question I could to keep his attention on me. And he never missed a beat. This Monday on June 22nd, my family and I will be traveling to Michigan from Alabama to spend a week with my father, who I've only been able to see twice in 18yrs, to have the chance to spend some time with him before the Good Lord calls him home. He's been battling ALS, otherwise known as Lou Gehrig disease and has been aggressive since his diagnosis in November. We were suppose to travel the week of my birthday which was spring break for my little ones starting March 20th, but the day before my birthday the world stopped to Stay at home and keep everyone safe. I didn't know if I was every going to get the chance to tell him in person how I felt about him. Long story short, my parents divorced when I was wrong and my mom was horrible about it. She used us against him, threatened him all the time for money and when he lost his job at the GM plant he worked at since he was 18 when they closed down, the money was short and she had him finally. She moved us away down to NC, remarried and it was years later before he found me again. Hes had alot regrets because of it, and I need to bring peace to his heart so he can pass peacefully the way he should. He's a good dad. The kind that always took me out fishing, taught me that just because I was a girl didn't mean that I couldn't do things that boys could do. That I could be tough too. He taught me to enjoy the simple things in life and to look around at what God gave us already because he's provided everything we need already, I just gotta look. My partner and I have been together for 8yrs almost and June 22nd is our 8yr anniversary. We're not married, even tho we have 2 kids together, but I've told him I've never been rushed to get married because I knew he wasn't going anywhere, we're soulmates, but I would love the opportunity for my dad to give me away before it's too late. He deserves that special moment. I wish I could put together something special for him tho. He's a HUGE country fan, in fact, that's all he listens too. Can't take him to a concert right now tho. Maybe you could help me? Maybe a special video clip for him. He's name is Tim as well. My dad and I are the only ones on my side of the family that listen to country music and it's why I have taken to the live style and it's keeping grounded as women that fears nobody but God and kneels for nothing else, except God. I hope you see this message in time and can help me out. Man, that would really be such an amazing thing to give him since we're short on things we're able to do right now. Thank you so much for all the great music you have put out in your career and I hope your family stay safe and God bless.
