What a great story. I remember my theology teacher in high school telling our class that people born with Down Syndrome were angels who were guaranteed to get into Heaven. I still remember it to this day.

Shame on the people who disliked this and especially the person who made a cruel comment "he'll never find a girlfriend so what's the point". Whoever you are, you are very misguided. Tim is a wonderful human being who is driven and smart. Why wouldn't he find a girl just as special? Your superficial sense of being is a waste. You have a lot to learn from Tim. Wow, this is the most intelligent person with Down syndrome I have ever seen. Many people with the condition aren't able to speak fluently and articulate their thoughts like this. Along with having a great family, he's a pretty lucky guy!

I don't think I've seen a comment section of people so miserable. Here's probably the happiest dude in the world, has a family restaurant, AND he's an accomplished athlete, all while being handicapped. And still, some people have to make asinine comments. It's pretty disturbing how awful some people can be. But hey, I'm sure this guy has heard it all before. What I love about truly positive people: they know how to stay positive. Not like Tim has anything to prove with what he's accomplished anyway.

Truly amazing and inspirational. I'm glad Tim got to fulfill his dream, I hope everyone with down syndrome takes this video to heart and sees that they can do anything. Don't you think that Tim and his friendliness and positivity are a big part of the appeal of the restaurant? He dances his way into work every day because he is thrilled to be there and gives you a hug when you walk in because he's thrilled you are there. His dad may have helped him set it up and his brother may operate it, but Tim is what keeps his customers coming back and that's what makes him a successful businessman.

I live in Albuquerque and I had the privelege to eat over there and meet Tim, the food is excellent, and the service is amazing, Tim sat down with me and played drums on his cup and gave me a hug, He is truly an amazing person and an inspiration! :)

I have to say... we were there in June. Went there because our 30 yr old Down Syndrome daughter wanted to go. When we got there, it was Tim's day off... OMGosh. Not good. One of the waiters said he would text him. Next thing you know Tim was there. Sat down with us on his day off and had brunch with us. Entertained us while we ate. My daughter and him talked and of course hugged. What a blessed day. Thank you Tim. Oh, the food was excellent too.
