+TheSweetestCurse I know, right?! The Portal of Mystery toys were made by Takara in around 1992 (apparently). I Googled them and only one thing on them came up (a photo of one on Flickr). I imagine they're pretty expensive if you were to buy it from a collectable toy shop.

I'm 38 and also remember that book from my childhood. Absolutely loved it. Pity he didn't show more of it, I remember there were a lot of things on each page you could pull out or flip over and it would reveal creepy eyes and whatnot.

I remember the book at 6:00 from my childhood. I actually had two copies. My brother had one but I decided he was too young for it so accuired it for myself. I remember finding it really frightening but fascinating at the same time.

Tim my brother I love you and grew up with you and always love and laugh at how funny you are, you've inspired me a great so I started collecting vintage toys and nick knacks of my own and I treasure them as much as you treasure your toys and vintage item throughout your life.
