Do you want to know how to lose 10 pounds this month? Here are 5 things you can do and if you start today, you'll be a happy camper in about 30 days.
Say bye-bye to alcohol. This is actually a literal toxin, which is horrible for inflammation, stress, sleep, and overall cellular health
Increase your protein - If you're a guy, start at 110g/day and add 5g for every inch taller you are than 5 feet. If you're a woman, do the same thing but start at 100g instead of 110g
Eliminate all processed foods. These typically contain refined oils, refined carbs, and some variation of sugar. These can all have negative down steam effects on your insulin, cortisol, estrogen, testosterone, thyroid, and overall metabolic function.
Get More sleep and spend less time in front of artificial blue light. Too much blue light will disrupt your circadian rhythm and lead to suboptimal sleep, one of the most underrated components of weight loss.
Go out for walks several times per day. This will help you get some steps in, balance out your blue light exposure, and get you more sunlight which is great for vitamin d production and can also boost cognitive performance.

I lost 10 lbs this month, yay! I cut most processed foods, and am tracking calories. Im being mindful of inflammatory foods as this recently became an issue for me. I'm still working on sending myself to bed at a good time (I love the quiet hours at night). And I cant say bye bye to alcohol, though I've cut back a lot, and am sticking with tequila which seems to be best for calories and lower glycemic effect. Im practicing a new way of life, where I don't want to restrict anything. I just want to have discipline and be mindful of calories and quality of most of the things I put in my body.

Sunlight has more blue light than your phone screen. The whole reason 'screens bad' is at night time, they're giving off the blue light your body expects to see from the sun during day time which can make your body think it's time to be awake. Assuming you don't work the night shift where you do need to be awake at night, which no one ever seems to care about, screens in the day shouldn't affect your sleep all that much. I'd only worry about screen time an hour or two before bed. In terms of blue light anyway, there are other reasons to put the screens away of course.

I actually surprisingly agree with most of this haha. Except for losing 10 pounds in a month, which would likely be mostly water weight and your body’s shift to the new diet. After that you will plateau eventually and your caloric intake will need to be changed. You can eat processed foods in moderation (although most foods are processed). Eat a balanced diet and don’t deprive yourself of foods you actually like. Doing this creates a bad relationship with food

Ladies and gentlemen, Today, I stand before you to address a topic that holds immense significance in our lives-losing weight. I want to ignite a spark within each one of you, a flame of determination that will guide you on your journey towards a healthier and happier you. First, let me emphasize that this journey is not about conforming to society's standards of beauty or succumbing to external pressures. It is about reclaiming your vitality, enhancing your well-being, and nurturing your self-confidence. Remember, you are embarking on this path for yourself and no one else. In this quest, it's essential to understand that weight loss is not a quick fix or a temporary phase. It requires patience, consistency, and a commitment to adopting healthy habits. Set realistic goals and celebrate each milestone you achieve. Remember, progress is not measured solely by numbers on a scale but by the positive changes you make in your life. Embrace the power of self-love and self-care. Treat your body as a temple, nourishing it with wholesome foods and engaging in physical activities that bring you joy. Explore different forms of exercise, find what resonates with you, and make it a regular part of your routine. Remember, it's not about punishment; it's about embracing a healthier lifestyle. In this journey, setbacks and obstacles are inevitable. There will be days when motivation wanes, when temptations arise, and when self-doubt creeps in. But remember, you possess a reservoir of strength within you that is capable of conquering any challenge. Surround yourself with a support system of loved ones who uplift and inspire you. Seek guidance from professionals who can provide you with the knowledge and tools necessary for success. But most importantly, believe in yourself. Believe that you have the power to transform your life, to break free from the chains that have held you back. Believe that every choice you make towards your health and well-being is a step towards a brighter future. You are worthy of the best version of yourself-vibrant, confident, and full of life. Remember, this journey is not about reaching an endpoint but about embracing a lifelong commitment to your well-being. So, my friends, as you embark on this transformative path, let inspiration guide your every step. Let the desire for a healthier, happier life be the fuel that propels you forward. And may you find strength, resilience, and unwavering determination within yourself to overcome every obstacle that comes your way. Believe in the power of your dreams, for today is the day you take control of your life and create a future filled with health, vitality, and endless possibilities. Thank you.

I like some of these guys tips. Having said that, I find the thought of seeing a morbidly obese person and saying “you know what they need? Sleep and sunlight” funny.

Have any suggestions for someone who has to live on a vampire schedule. I right now have no choice but to be up all night, going to bed anywhere from 5 am to approximately 8:00 am. Then, getting up at 12 12:30 pm. Lack of sleep has made it hard to keep going on a diet and exercise plan.

Alcohol, is a situation, needing to be replaced with healthier option with no artificial flavorings. Like water but my husband finds water boring even with fresh fruit, not me. We have over 20 fruit trees nothing like it…, Thank you….

Also, eat in a caloric deficit and count and log your calories. This is the most important thing, alongside eating caloric dense foods to keep you satiated. The fat will melt off and you won't be suffering in the process. Trust me, I've lost 175 pounds with ease this way.

Try not eating for 12 hours a day, 8 of those hours can be while you sleep. Also keep glycemic index low by limiting your sweet intake as much as possible. Amazing what happens when you rest your digestive system.

There's nothing wrong with an occasional drink on a diet as long as you don't over do it. Also, stop with the protein by height bs. Protein intake should be determined by your weight at 1.6 grams per kg of bodyweight, or 1 gram per lb of bodyweight. Calorie deficits are what matter most for fat loss, so counting calories is essential. Low calorie, high volume foods with adequate protein intake to prevent muscle loss.
