Agree with you on the walking and outdoors, which is why I could never live in a city, my idea of hell on earth to be honest. Yes, I would would rather be on a hill than indoors as well, I was in bed most of last week ill and it killed me, hated it, especially as the weather over the Lake Distract had been great all week too. You got some great views on that walk with a lot of interest on the route and the audio sounded great to me, so a win with the new mic. Cheers Alan

Thanks Alan , I hope your are getting better now . yeah its a nice local route , hopefully over the worst weather this year for us all now till the later months. yeah I was very happy with the mic cancelling out the wind. Take care pal 😎😎

You are so right John.. many years ago, I lost almost 5 stone in a year.. that's when I discovered my love for the great outdoors, the hills and the moors. Mentally, it turned my life around too. I love Wild Bank. The mic sounds great! Think I could do with getting one myself. All the best buddy.

Thanks , Im always so happy up on the moors on a dry day , feels like I'm in my natural element , I do love woodland too . Walking outdoors really turned my life around too , Its just a generic wireless mic set from amazon , you can pick them up for about £25 and some come with windshields , mine didn't 😢😂, or you can pay a lot more for a high end one , just make sure its compatible with your camera/phone before hand. Great message John, thank you for sharing your experiences and I hope folk feel inclined to join you in using outdoors and exercise as therapy. Love the new camera, and the mic did a good job in the wind. Not sure about the sites suitability for wild camping. I couldn't see any flat spots to pitch a tent, but as you said you could use a tarp or a bivvy.

Thanks Phil , Im happy with the upgrades , mics did very well as was quite windy on the top. wind noise can be a big issue for filming outdoors. I will have another look at the site , might just serve as a little chillout spot

@@thehealthanarchist Thanks, that would be great. Ive heard of a couple of people losing the mic recently so might be worth double checking its on securely.
